What's the deal with sushi? People say not to eat it because it's raw fish and unhealthy. At the same time, Japan has the oldest living people on Earth.

Is it ok if I eat sushi or do I have to be Japanese to have the "tolerance" for it?

Absolutely the most disgusting thing to ever enter (and exit) my mouth! (And no, we'll not talk about my kinkiness, either!)

THIS IS GOOD STUFF MAN!!!!!!!! Sea urchin rocks! I love sushi. I suppose any sushi lover had their first experience with them. My first experence was eating sushi with wasabi. Whoa!!!!! The sting was just mind piercing. I didn't touch sushi for a long time. Then I started to study about the goodness of Japanese diet. And give sushi another chance. From that on, I'm totally hooked! Literally!

The fresh sea taste from the meat dipped into Shoyu & Wasabi mixture and them swim with the tongue nothing like having a long deep french kiss and melt in the mouth exploding with pure clean flavour. Combined with a hint of saltiness from the Nori & sourness of the sushi rice......you're in heaven at the highest level!

Unagi is also my favourite. For those who eat cooked stuff, try Unagi first before going for the raw varieties. And those who are afraid of Mercury (And if you can't live with Hormones from chicken, antibiotic from beef & worms from fish), try the Raw Organic Vegan Nori Rolls version:

I had sushi once.

I found out how embarrassing it is to throw up at a table in a crowded restaurant.

Barfed up not only the sushi, but what was in my stomach at the time.

And sadly no I don't have any receipes. I don't think I would have the patience for it. I just want people to make it for me

To those that haven't ever tried it - I've been there. I was like not no but HELL NO am I going to be putting that in my mouth. But I started off slow, and with simple rolls/pieces etc., and gradually moved up in terms of "fishiness" for lack of a better term. Now, I can't stop. So give it a shot before you say no no no NO!
