  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

I went on the straightest date ever, boo hiss and LOL.

Not like you don't all know what I'm thinking.

You learned your lesson.

Bi men are for friendship and sex if you're into that.

Gay men are for dating.

(In my pig-headed but frighteningly accurate opinion, of course.)

I guess he didn't get the memo

Bis usually don't.

Yeah, because those are known for not being shallow and the ideal place to find a nice meaningful relationship.

Who is a more likely candidate for a meaningful relationship, the kind person who knows what he wants sexually and can be assumed to know about relationships, or the kind of person who has sexual and relational issues such as those described in the OP?

I have to say I'd have left alot earlier than you did. I'd have had to feed the cat or something.

I actually would have left saying that I had to go out and find a cat so that I could say I had to leave to go feed it.

I swear I would have stabbed him in the eye if he'd suggested to me that our date was going to be Shopaholic.

Seriously, I suspect you were dealing with a borderline personality narcissist...which most 'bisexuals' in my experience have been.

Oh well, what doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

Do you go to a fetish club to find a relationship or a quick fuck?

Quick but long-winded fuck.

But quick fucks tend to have a better chance of turning into relationships and friendships than going to the movies. The direct approach is almost always the best.

Funny. I found the exact opposite. But I guess it depends on what type of man/relationship you're looking for.

I'm sorry but that shit is funny.

I have to admit. I laughed. Sorry.

The guy is a total tool.

Avoid 'bisexuals'. Most of them are pure poison and extremely unpleasant for gay guys to be around.

I feel the same way about certain gay guys. :)

I don't want to opoetetten, but it sure didn't work out this time.

1) opoetetten? Never heard that before - must be regional. What does it mean? ('sound like a grandma'???)
2) Not this time, no. Does every single fuck at the fetish club turn out to be mind-blowingly spectacular? Never had a bad one?
Most dates I go on are, in fact, very relaxed. Dinner, pint at the pub, have a drink at home, movie on the couch, something like that. That was, you can have a chat, have a laugh and see where the evening goes. I usually don't really pre-plan anything (except for the 'dinner' or 'pub' part) - I like to let the evening develop naturally. The cinema (which was also his idea, I'm just very accommodating) can possibly be used for a first date, I think, but it doesn't really work to get to know one another.

Like rareboy: no need to apologise. If it's funny, it's funny. And this definitely is! :D

Oh, and gay guys can be just as flakey as bisexual guys, definitely. Perhaps it's a different kind, but flakey nonetheless. :)

1). Yes.

2). You can both hop to the next person if it doesn't work out. You don't do that as easily in the cinema.

So you would advocate speeddating? :p

See, I would like get to know someone's personality before I got to know their ass. I guess I'm just funny that way.

well that blows! and if the guy can't get his own head clear to treat his date appropriately then he's something of a douche if you ask me.

Might be it, though I got the distinct feeling... not that it really matters in the end - it was still an absurd crap date. I've not been on a winning streak.

and yet again we are faced with this 'distance' thing. because i would soo let you win with me.

and we would have made out in the back of the theater.

many times over. ;)

This guy seems like a pretentious bi too me who is really an extremely closeted homo. He was putting on an act, overdoing it, because he couldn't cope with the fact that he was starving for cock.

Your lack of insight in the date-situation has left you with neither.

Excuse me? Did that just come from someone who seems to think that being the fifth person that night to shoot a load up someone's bum constitutes a deep and long-lasting relationship? This may surprise you, but some of us are not only on this planet to have empty sex with as many men as possible.

Lack of insight indeed.

Well, this sure wasn't the way to get it. ;)
