If Obama wins this year, do you think we should ask Republicans to leave the country and leave liberal America alone?

Because If A republican wins, Im all for dividing us up red and blue.

But I am guessing that blue america will attract republican "let him die" leeches across the border so they can have Obamacare and reap the benefits of science like rational people.

You would have few left to work and pay taxes. And when the few remaining discovered that they were expected to bear the entire burden they would escape as well.

Well, given that the Republicans have told any liberal to get out of town, I think the same could be asked of the conservatives.

But at the end of the day, half of America will be to the centre left and the rest on the right.

I think in fairness though, everyone can finally tell the Tea Party folk to just go fuck themselves.

Yep - because, in your world, ONLY the people who work would pay any taxes at all.

No taxes from the guy watching the billions pour into his accounts while he sits by the swimming pool calculating the dividends and interest, but put the entire onus on working people, right?
 
If we ban News Corp and any subsidiaries from the US, I'd be happy. Some shows on broadcast Fox I'll miss but I guess I can endure that.
 
The more I think of it the more I like the idea. The Democrats would get those high welfare, high crime areas, while Republicans would get the working, tax paying areas. The businesses remaining in Democrat land could escape the extreme and unreasonable burdens imposed upon. They could move across to Republican land and would not be driven to India.

No American should be asked to leave the country. But if Obama wins it will be high time the republicans start cooperating for the good of the country instead of obstructing everything.
 
That is why i hope they get slaughtered. otherwise it will be the same shit as the last four years. I want the Republicans to hear loud and clear that America is tired of obstructive partisan bullshit.

I am not optimistic that will occur but I hope.
 
GC I wont begin to AGREE with Ben. However as much as he is showing bias towards one are you are demonstrating it towards the other side of the spectrum. It makes me wonder if either of you have been extensively to both versions of America? I also wonder if ANY of you have ever heard of the team concept? This county isn't great because of LA or NEW YORK and it isn't great because of TULSA or Kansas City.... it is supreme because of the combination.

Nevertheless, whites vote Republican by a large majority and whites have significantly higher incomes. As Gov Rendell said famously, blacks and hispanics are the heart and soul of the Democrat base. If the Republicans or Republican areas leave the balance will not fare well.

As for being one team, liberals want diversity and muticuralism, not unity. The famous divide and conquer strategy. The Democrats have worked for generations to exempt their supporters while shifting the burdens and responsibility on to fewer and fewer, mostly not Republicans. Fewer than half the eligible voters pay income taxes. Class warfare is what the Democrat party is all about.

Do you see the idiocy in that statement? The whole assertion that "everyone should pay income taxes" IS class warfare! It's warfare against those who can barely afford to live as it is. Society is rigged with such measures, punishing the poor for being poor, punishing those trying to get ahead for daring to improve their economic status, and transferring the wealth to those who haven't earned it -- especially bankers.
