Meanwhile Obama has spent untold millions arming his administrative agencies--for what possible purpose? http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jan/7/golden-hammer-feds-spending-millions-to-arm-agenci/It won't be long before drones will be used on citizens of the US as well as Terminator robocops.
The future is here.

Thanks TX-Beau. That the gun nuts and NRA apologists have no concern that the police are out-gunned and that demented, violent individuals are able to obtain military grade weapons and murder 5 police officers from a great distance says all one needs to know about the state of the gun debate.
Equally troubling is that people were able to openly carry high-powered rifles in public in the middle of hundreds of people demonstrating is insane. The police would be unable to arrest them because there's nothing unlawful in Texas about doing that. So, in Texas, and any other open carry state, a mad man can obtain a powerful weapon, walk unhindered into the middle of the crowd, the police would have no basis to stop them or detain them, and then they could just open fire and kill who knows how many people with superior fire-power to anything the police would have on hand. Anyone who thinks that this is not an insane policy is themselves insane.
Proof positive that everybody being armed will not prevent such events from happening
, no matter what the NRA says about it. I wonder how many NRA members would die if someone crashed one of their meetings and opened fire? How long would it take for someone there to come to their senses long enough to take the guy out?
Canada has serious lobby laws. No government should be owned by a lobby.
This was my very thought exactly. That the population is better armed than the police is another problem not in the debate often enough. The lunacy of uncontrolled sales and ownership of guns can no longer be denied.
Since the Good Guys with Guns argument is now void, let's just send in the extra-judicial robot with a bomb to sort the problem out.

Texas Open-Carry Laws Blurred Lines Between Suspects and Marchers
"He said the event had attracted “20 or 30 people” who “showed up with AR-15 rifles slung across their shoulder.”
“They were wearing gas masks,” Mr. Brown said. “They were wearing bulletproof vests and camo fatigues, for effect, for whatever reason.”
When the shooting started, “they began to run,” he said. "
And they almost got shot, but I guess since they were white, they didn't?
And because they ran in the middle of the shooting, he said, the police on the scene viewed them as suspects. “Someone is shooting at you from a perched position, and people are running with AR-15s and camo gear and gas masks and bulletproof vests, they are suspects, until we eliminate that.”
Read the debates about the Second Amendment back during ratification. The whole point was that the population be better armed than the government.
Fail. What they conceal is that the main reason that mass shooters decide to kill themselves is that good guys with guns showed up, and a primary reason that they decide to flee the scene is that good guys with guns show up.
The NRA is millions of people banded together to combine their power of free speech. If that kind of activity is restricted, you no loner have a free country.
Give Congress the authority to make such limitations, and they'll bar gays and environmentalists from talking to Congress at all.
THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING!
You know, I've given this some thought, and frankly, I do not want to live in a paranoid world where we are all armed just because every little one of life's confrontations has the potential to become fatal. That is not fucking freedom Kuli, it's the OPPOSITE.
You do NOT have the right to force us all into such idiocy. There is no 2cnd amendment argument, we ALREADY regulate firearms.
END. OF. STORY.
While we're at it, you will NEVER TOPPLE THE GOVERNMENT! If by some miracle you became a threat to the Fed they'd just drop a bomb on your head, and BOOM! End of minutemen fantasy.
The event is tragic and results horrific but this reads almost comical.
I thought of the yahoos that are always talking about a militia. Yee~haw Texas style.
Even more troubling is the genie is out of the bag with robot kills. Like Drones these will increase in use by the police. Its just not a good idea that the police have so many weapons from the military.
Not that I care about this POS but I guess tear gas wasn't a option to flush him out so they could humanly exterminate him or maybe the robot had vocals to read him his Miranda rights ?

"Good guys with guns"? What is this, a 70s western? What kind of dementia world do you live in?
