If you died and were given the chance to reincarnate as animal, what would you be?

I want to be a bird.

Do I get to keep my human perspective and conscience? I can only imagine the freedom of being able to fly anywhere, and place, and see all of it from the sky.

i would want to come back as either a siberian husky, alaskian malamute, or a polar bear.

over the past couple of months, i've been watching siku, the polar bear cub, grow up and i see a lot of myself in him when i was a kid where he's trying to exercise his freedom the best way he can.

I'd want to come back as a cute little Toy Poodle owned by a gay guy, so he'd put a sweater on me in the winter, a little doggy raincoat when it's raining, as well as let me stay in his air conditioned/heated house. Plus, he'd feed me the same things he ate, and wouldn't freak out when I latched onto his leg and humped it a few times.

Sea eagle. It's gorgeous, with the heaviest mass of any eagle, a wing span right up the the best of them (about eight feet), good maneuverability, and protected.

I'm assuming I keep my human memories, too, BTW.


If it doesn't have to be a real animal (thanks Lex for breaking that ice), I'd want to be a gold or silver dragon. They can go about in human shape when they want, and can fly for incredible distances in one trip.

Probably a more elusive and heavily protected species which could get away quick in a pinch. The bald eagle or some such creature.

It would be nice to come back as an adorable dog but I fear there is too much risk in that of being abused - chained to a wall and set on fire as so many dogs and cats are these days. And I'd like to come back as a horse but those, too, are treated so cruelly lately.

So a bald eagle would be nice because at least an abuser could get federal prison time, a huge fine and I could peck his eyes out, too. And everyone would admire me for doing it.

All the things one would want in any reincarnation, I would think.
