hi Sexpun de Come,
Thanks for the update and good to hear you are able to talk freely and relaxed with your mother about a variety of gay items. I was wondering why your mother had already her thoughts that you might be gay. Have you already asked this question to her? Do you mind to tell us something about this? And its good that your mom and dad discuss these things with each other.
Are you sure that all of your fellow-students at your college are 100% sure that you are 'a straight guy, single & looking around for a nice girl'? I mean, your mother already had some ideas that you might be gay, so why should this not be the case with some of your fellow-students / classmates (etc.)? All will be aware that you don't have a girlfriend, and all female classmates (and other girls over there) will be aware that you don't flirt with girls.
Living as an open gay at your college can also go very smoothly. Maybe (I don't know) there are already quite a few people over there who would not be too suprized that you are gay? Take your time, and you might also give some small hints (if appropriate), e.g. that you are not interested in girls. Or become friends / aquaintance with fellow gay students. Likely, people (girls) will draw conclusions when they see that you often talk / have lunch together etc / with guy students who are open gay. Maybe, suddenly something happens at your college which can be a nice opportunity to let people know that you are gay as well.
Ofcourse, having a boyfriend is an easy and a convenient way to start living as an open gay. Finding one at your college is also a convenient way to be openly gay.
And about getting kids. Well...... you told us that you are 18, you don't even have a boyfriend, so your mom has a point that kids are a 'far-fetched fantasy.'
I would like to wish you a nice weekend. Good luck and please keep us informed.
