A person can be straight and have the following characteristics.

It's called a best friend or a close fraternity brother (people that genuinely care for one another. They can be straight or gay).
 
don't blame him for something you chose to do. you didn't have to lay with him. you fucked up and you're mad at him for your mistake. next time, stick with someone that tells you straight up that they're bi or gay then you won't have to make this kind of thread. stop messing with confused men thinking you can manipulate them into what you want them to be when it's up to them to figure out themselves, not you. that's what you should have learned so quit blaming him. good night.

It's a messy messy world. Some folks just can't admit they like the dick. Unfortunately they're fears and hesitations for not making the leap out of the closet is justified. Even more unfortunate is the guy that falls for him.

Most people aren't 100% straight. The more straight guys I've come out to, the more I realize many of them are curious and sometimes even conflicted with their sexuality.

People are just attracted to other people, whether they are men or women. Gender doesn't always make someone attractive to another person.

Yeah, the boners and sex are different, but these aren't "gay" characteristics; they're characteristics of a good friend. It's risking being mocked as "gay" or misinterpreted as gay that means a lot of straight guys avoid these inherently nice qualities.

And in Argentina, people greet each other they know with a kiss on the cheek (the cheek on the face...not the other cheek). Men kiss women on the cheek. Men kiss men on the cheek. Women kiss women on the cheek. Women kiss men on the cheek. It's a cultual thing and not a gay thing.
