In what position do you sleep?

Normally I sleep on my side/stomach and have one leg and one arm over my body pillow (basically I spoon my pillow, it really is guite an unnatural relationship). Every once in awhile I have some problems due to the shit I am going through and have to sleep in a recliner.

I start out on my stomach and burrow deep into my mattress until I'm snuggly and cozy and comfy.

Later on I wake up on my back. I don't know how I get there!

However, for the most part it depends who is in bed with me.

All of my friends tell me that I am a complete freak for sleeping on my stomach--I am a complete anomaly among them. So I'm surprised to see that a quarter of people here sleep on their stomachs.

I snore like a locomotive if I sleep on my back.

I snore like a choo-choo train if I sleep on my stomach.

I used to sleep on my side or fetal position as a kid, but I tend to sleep more on my stomach now. Probably something to do with my gut and gravity.

I doubt it. Most likely the sample for your study of this topic was too small.

For example, since 51 out of 87 people so far have said they sleep in a position other than their stomach, it would be very easy in everyday life to stumble across, say 5 - 10 guys who are from the group that doesn't sleep on their stomach.

As you sample more people, its gets harder to accidently miss the people from the other group, (36 out of 87) who do sleep on their stomach.

So just try asking more people. If it keeps coming up the same way, you may be on to something.
