Well if you ask me, I studied this in school in an anthropology class and in wester society it is quite damned, but in otehr cultures who are by the way few in actual times, it is a normal thing and very accepted, if you ask me, it depends on the person, and also id depends greatly on what input your nuclear family has given you. I for one, don't do it, but have relatives who are attractive and I acknowledge that they are, do I do anything sexual with them? No, because I was raised to think that having so many other people in the world I shouldn't have to settle with someone close who is already my relative, yet I don't actually think it is disgusting, I think it's just something some people do like and others don't.
 
I will not tell people its wrong (because its not), but its gross to me.

If you ask me I don't think it would be bad to practice with your father, since you are him, but your female family members I would never like to think of it happening.

I think as long as it is consensual, same-sex, for experimentation purposes only, the age is relatively the same (+/- a year or so), and safer sex is practiced it will be fine.

I used to wish that I had a brother to play with (as I only have 2 sisters and that would be absolutely sick). Sadly I've never had a bro so I got over that pretty quickly.

Um... last time i checked if you are gay and you have incest, it ususally doesn't result in any offspring because... well... i hate to break it to you, but it takey a man and a women to have a baby.

And it's also a myth that all children of incest are deformed, that's a myth perpetrated by the old thinking of religious dogma. Now it is true that children of incest are SLIGHTLY more likely to have genetic conditions OVER TIME. That's because you are limiting the gene pool of which the offspring is created. In the first few generations of incest you may not see any problems at all, but after successive generations you may see the effects of limited genetic pool.

Now don't get me wrong, i'm not in favor of heterosexual incest resulting in offspring at all. But it's not because it's taboo or because of some "ickiness" factor, it's because it does nothing at all to enhance the genetic stability of the species.

But, I'd never agree to the idea that anyone should be allowed to take such SLIGHTLY higher risks, when it comes to having children.

It's the height of disfunction in my opinion. You have to ask yourself what went wrong within that family to make them even contemplate sexual thoughts about their parents or siblings.

Fantasy is great when it's about consensual age gap relationships where the older partner might be considered your fathers age but I don't think it's ok to actively fantasize about your own father.

If we're talking about raping minors here (and you never made it clear from your first post what the question was exactly) then of course incest is not only the height of disfunction but it's sick and evil and the children involved will be damaged for life.
 
I'ts an even bigger taboo when there can be a child as a result that is why there is people who dont' view it as too bad in between men, but still add to the taboo of incest the taboo of homosexuality and you don't get anything nice.

Well we can see the evolutionary why's and wherefore's:
If we have sex with familiars it is anti-economic.
Who's going to hunt for the big elk if everyone is being silly with each other? And big game hunting demands a lot of non-sexual attention.
