Last month, Canada signed a trade deal with Indonesia, aiming to establish duty-free access for up to 95 percent of Canadian goods exported there in the next year. Canada is now targeting agreements with the Philippines, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan.

Bucking the headwinds.

TrumpCo. may be set on trashing Canada's economy, but the strategy of shifting away from dependence on the US for so much of our integrated economy seesm to be working for the moment.

Of course a US recession or crash will be our recession and crash too. But glad that October was a positive.

As the US turns away from being a leader in science and research, Canada and other countries are taking a look at how we can purloin some of the talent.

We already have some of the best and brightest working in the Universities In Ontario and Quebec...time for us to make a home for those defunded by TrumpCo.
