Oh, and I forgot to add that the same goes for the "artistic prestige": you can have no voice left but still pull out shows in Vegas with great fuss and success... like I was horrified to discover about Shania Twain some years ago. It is, like I said, about the feelings and a world vision people keep about certain memories and the people associated to them... as long as the subject of their esteem does not screw it with the wrong words or actions, screw the art and the artistic merit.

You’re comparing apples to oranges. Anyone can put a bandaid on a cut, including a five year old. I wouldn’t want a five year old putting up drywall, and from what you’ve described of your work in different threads, I wouldn’t want you doing it either.
