The mystery with "genius" Musk is that his cars catch fire, usually get totaled when they are wrecked and are ridiculously expensive for the common person. His rockets have routinely crashed and burned. His satellites are more successful... until he started using them as objects of warfare. And now he is determined to embed technology into the human brain. He's turned a good idea (Twitter) into a cesspool of porn and disinformation ala 4chan.The other problem Musk will run into is that eventually the more outrageous his actions affecting the general public, the greater the backlash against his brand.
If GM or Ford or IBM did any of this, their stockholders would have fired the CEO. If NASA crashed that many rockets, here would have been government investigations. If any other company was putting chips in people's heads, the conspiracy nuts would have been foaming at the mouth.
Instead, he's treated like he's the second coming of Christ.
