Imagine being an investor behind the 44 billion Musk paid for Twitter, or one of the many companies damged by the stupid blue check scheme yesterday and then seeing this tweet, now deleted.

OOoh, looks like all Elon's chickens are coming home.

What that basically says is that Tesla stockholders feel they were cheated by Elon - which of course does NOT mean they were all that offended when he was cheating anyone else.
 
Eventually, it could be Tesla's stockholders who pull the pin in a class action. A single shareholder suit won't even make it to arbitration, let alone court.

The only way that Tesla won't be go to zero is if the Board totally removes Musk from the company and buys back all his shares to keep the price from bottoming.

That one is going to trial. This isn't about one small stockholder - he's a front for much bigger fish who don't want to materially damage their portfolio value by having a catfight at the top.

The goal is to force Elon to repay the 40 billion or so in profits he took that they claim he defrauded them of having. Elon promised X, they agree to let him buy Y amount of stock at a steep discount if he delivers - they claim he misrepresented the terms and didn't meet his goals and took the discount anyway.

He's most likely guilty as charged. They'd know because they helped him fuck over plenty of other people. The whole Twitter mess started as a shady stock manipulation, it's how they all operate.

Sorry, the amount in question is 56 billion.

Although I suspect at the end of the day, it will be all the small shareholders who take the hit.

Musk keeps talking about the Recession next year...he may be one of the people who manipulates the market to help cause it.

I have no idea what the fuck this means, but I assume that as Twitter tries to unwind the fuck-up they caused at the end of last week...they are now creating a monumental fuck-up for their reg users.
