Is Elon Musk in Trouble?

I'm not arguing with you, the only question is are they just ignorant or is it willful blindness - or both?

Frankly, everyone else needs to start using the law and suing. It's gone beyond being nice, and it's time for some consequence.

In my view, it isn't ignorance nor willful blindness. It is willful deceit. The end justifies the means. The rules apply, unless the rules apply to them. The root of republican hypocrisy is deliberate deceit. They don't care about hypocrisy because it proves to them the deception was effective. Hypocrisy is part of the plan.

Oh yeah. He is in deep trouble.

He is begging his investors to sink more money into Twitter.

Musk, via his family office, this week privately offered to sell additional equity at the same $44 billion valuation that he's essentially admitted was an overpay.

  • His original takeover was partially funded by outside investors like Andreessen Horowitz, Sequoia Capital, Fidelity, and Oracle founder Larry Ellison. Several large Twitter investors also rolled over their equity stakes, including company co-founder Jack Dorsey and Saudi Arabia's Kingdom Holding Company.

Who the fuck is going to look at how he is trashing any shred of value left in Twitter and think...oh yeah, this is the guy we should give more of our money to?

Tesla Inc. shares Friday wrapped up their worst week since 2020, as Chief Executive Elon Musk sold billions in stock and faced a call from a prominent investor to step down from the helm of the electric-vehicle maker...Leo KoGuan, Tesla’s third-largest individual shareholder, publicly called for a new CEO on Twitter this week, as a chorus of previously boosterish accounts on the service expressed dismay at the stock decline and Musk’s actions...

Last year Tesla stock was worth over a trillion dollars, now it's worth sixty percent LESS. There is still no end in sight. I suspect the Elon fanboys who own Tesla stock are swiftly getting over it.

...The knives are out...

ALL HAIL TWITELON!

Perhaps someone can engineer a sort of figurative Caesar/Brutus moment - it will have to end with that kind of high drama, or we'll all feel terribly dissapointed.

I do find it funny that the bird flew free, and ate the Musk.

Go to Twitter or any other right wing yesterday and troday read the comments about the suspensions of accounts.

Across the board, there is not one of them talking about 'Free Speech'. It is all about revenge against Libtards and why it is okay to cancel them now if they write bad things (true) about Elon.

Always the same glaring hypocrisy.

I see though, that Elon restoring Mike Lindell's account so he can spread his lies to an even bigger audience again is starting to make moderate and centrist Twitter users question the value of wading through an expanding mess of garbage tweets now to find the news and info they are looking for.

We should never forget that Musk is under an SEC consent decree for using Twitter to lie about Tesla in order to artificially inflate its stock.

Every one of his Tesla-related tweets now has to be vetted by another party.

Even then, he seems to be offering opinions on Tesla to reassure his angry stockholders and pitching the blame on other forces, like Fed rates, a statment which has been pointed out as being patently false by one of the major shareholders.

Not just more of their money, but at the same inflated price he paid? :rotflmao: Is it just me or is Christmas coming early? Republicans are cannibalizing each other, Musk is flailing like a fish out of water, it's like the universe said "You guys have suffered enough, it's comeuppance season."

Germany has opened a Mastodon feed.

Now that Musk is allowing NAZIs back on Twitter, I suspect that a lot of organizations and even countries are not going to want their presence on Twitter as much.
