  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

Is everyone watching the MJ Farewell?

Watched for a minute to See Elizabeth Taylor, but i have yet to see her!

she tweeted this morning that she wasn't gonna be there...that Michael wouldn't have wanted her to get caught up in all the hype or something like that

I think Paris probably wanted to "say something". I doubt anyone forced her.

ugh...Perez Hilton just tweeted this..
PerezHilton Nooooo!!!!!!! Those kids should not be putting on a show right now. So wrong. They should not be speaking or on stage. So horrible.

douche...you post pictures of celebs kids, make fun of them and everything else....you shouldn't be talking at all.

She wanted to say something about her father...I highly doubt anyone forced her to say anything...if there was forcing you would think they would have made all the kids say something....some people just always have to think the worst of situations.

his daughter is just....*tears*

It was a very poignant memorial. Sad, sad day.

I kept hoping that he would just jump out of his casket and start singing again. *sigh*

I really feel bad for MJ's children with all the media talking about who will get custody, thats the last thing they need to worry about, living with a stranger ect

For those that missed it:

John Mayer's version of Human Nature:

Jennifer Hudson's version of "Will you be there"

Finally, Al Sharpton said something that made me almost like him...

There was nothing strange your daddy...

I made it through the show without shedding tears, until Paris spoke. I can't imagine what I'd feel if I lost a parent like that. Especially for a 11 year old to deal with that...

i thought he said "there was nothing strange about him. His critics were strange ..."
I agreed with that 100%.

^^^I think he said: there was nothing strange about him. Strange things just happen to your daddy.

nope. im sad that hes gone, but i dont think that an over the top memorial service is needed. especially after family members asked that they be left alone so they can grieve in peace.

umm, i'm not sure about that but i think Al was taking a swipe at his critics.
