If that's their driving marketshare, shrug. This isn't a "danger posed by Islam" unless the UK government has unilaterally mandated restaurants can't sell pork. A Subway in a Jewish neighborhood would be smart to ensure its products at those locations were all kosher, too.

I would avoid a store that gave other customers what they want while depriving me of what I want.

I suspect the story here is not that ham and bacon sales were so low as to be pointless, but that some customers didn't want other customers buying ham or bacon.
