Militant Islam is a danger to all civilization, including Muslim civilization. Once a significant portion of sensible Muslims realize that and decide to act, the problem should go away.

In about a century.

In the U.S. especially (wanna sing the anthem with me, Pat?) your chance of being shot to death by a non Muslim fellow citizen outdoes any threat posed by "Islam" on an exponential order of magnitude. We have, what, 14x more people killed every year by handguns than were killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor that led us into WWII. 12x more every year than were killed in the 9/11 attacks.

Any rational person establishing mental threat perimeters about what actually is likely to encroach or threaten you here isn't even thinking about Islam, and shouldn't. It would be vastly more productive for them to be doing research on the airbag that is in the automobile they drive.

I'm sure Pat has some super-spooky pictures to convince us otherwise, though.
