Is it ethical to lie in order to give blood?

It's to reduce peer pressure - we used to have those stickers here, too. They haven't used them in a couple of years, now.

a)Some people put the wrong one on - a phlebotomist told me about a grandfather who was donating because his grandson had been in a bad wreck - he put the wrong one on - she saw him do it.

b) If you're around the bar codes enough, you can tell which one was applied w/out scanning.

Here's part of the website with eligibility criteria by topic - not set up quite the way the questionnaire is, but it covers a lot of ground. I looked, unfortunately it has been PC'd - general discussions, includes Sexually transmitted diseases, HIV/Aids, but I didn't see a section where it mentioned m-m sex. I couldn't get a hard copy of questions from the center - they ask everything online now.
