That's pretty funny. So, wondering if American owned resorts in Jamaica is gay friendly yet a stupid question? Have you been there?

My friends from my office said they never left the resort, and they had a wonderful time. Plenty of activities to do. I was wondering if anyone here have had any recent experience at the resorts.

You know, sometimes a question only seem stupid to stupid people.
 
The question wasn't a stupid one, no more than asking if it's safe to travel to Saint Petersburg or Dubai.
 
It was one that could easily be answered by Google. So maybe it wasn't a stupid question, but it was a lazy one. I also think he was just trying to brag like his samsung S8 thread.

If your friends already told you so much about how great it is there, then why did you ask us? Just another "look at me" thread.

Because they are straight. From what they have told me regarding the activities they did at the prices they paid, it sounded ideal for my spouse and I. They all said the only time they were outside the resorts were when they arrived and when they left. Is it too much to ask if anyone here (am I correct to assume most people here are gay?) has had recent experience in one of these American owned resorts in Jamaica?

Anything else?

How is that a personal attack? Cormac posts that Chickenguy is dead, I assume it's a joke and respond in kind.

A personal attack is calling Zombie a liar about his being an engineer. Nothing he has ever said would prove that.

I did google. Most of the results came up exactly what you guys are saying, that Jamaica is a shithole for gay people. Little are said about the resorts. Some are said to be friendly to gay couples.

Again, I was looking for personal experience at one of these American owned resorts.

Bragging? Plenty of people have gone on honeymoon. And I even said that I'm not willing to spend a lot of money. If this was bragging about us planning out our honeymoon, I'd be saying "we got $50K to go on a honeymoon, should we visit Hawaii, Hong Kong, all over Europe, and top it off with staying at Trump Tower?" Instead, I specifically said we are looking for alternatives to expensive places like Bahamas and Hawaii. In other words, we have a budget we have to work with. It was one of you 4 musketeers who told me to go all in and spend all my money on a place like Hawaii.

Now, regarding the S8, I am genuinely excited about it. Actually, I just preordered one from best buy. This will be the first time either one of us get a new phone as it comes out. Before this, we have always gotten a phone a couple generations late to not have to pay the insane prices of these phones. This is the first time we actually will get a nice phone that we actually picked out. My spouse's current phone is the iphone that my company gave me. Neither one of us like iphone. My current phone is his old phone, which was a hand-me-down from someone else. It's a cheap android. Pretty much a piece of shit. In fact, I know plenty of teenagers that always have the latest smart phone, much better than what I've always gotten. This will be our first. We're both excited because we're both technophiles. We just never got a chance to get a phone we wanted.
 
Well damn. Jamaica was going to be my go-to country if I ever needed to go some place that didn't have an extradition treaty with the US. Now I have to find another one.
