Lindsey Graham; Mitch McConnell GAY?

Well, we all know there is absolutely nothing wrong with being gay and in the closet so it would be ok to speculate on news that is all over the internet: Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina; Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Congressman David Drier of California are being rumored about heavily as being gay. They all happen to be anti-gay, pro traditional family Republicans. Here's one writer on the three:

Michelangelo Signorile, author, radio personality and famous gay activist writes on his blog today that there are many more gay senators and congressmen in the Republican ranks in congress. He names three he has "heard" about...all three are anti-gay rights:
Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) -- Republican Minority Leader in the Senate.
Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-South Carolina)
Congressman David Drier (R-California)

I always wondered about Lindsay Graham. Could never make up my mind if he was a closet case or not. Regardless I like him, for a republican ;) (There are much worse Rs and he is one of the few with sense even if I disagree with him on issues)

As I posted in another thread, McConnell is the most openly closeted gay in the Senate. He was "relieved" from the military for allegedly making sexual advances at fellow soldiers. To this day, McConnell has refused to say why he was released, but I have heard about this my entire life. To suppress rumors after his first marriage ended in failure, he married Elaine Choa in 1993 (Choa is the current Sec. of Labor for Bush) although the couple live in seperate houses. The day will come when McConnell will finally be outed. Since he's facing re-election next year, I hope that it happens soon :p.

I don't know, but Graham and McConnell are some of the ugliest Senators I've seen in my life. Graham does set off my gaydar as he is little too "queeny" IMO. McConnell looks like a ghoul, so who knows.

Any proof of any of these allegations? Anybody here slept with anybody on this list? Or are we simply going to engage in partisan gossip? C'mon you can do better than this!

Hey! anagrams never lie:

Mitch McConnell=Mom! Clench Clint!
Lindsay Graham=I'm a shy Garland
David Drier=Diva did err.

I rest my case.

;)

Per4. Me thinks you have shared to much of Alice's kool aid. and you are now speaking like her.

Ouch!

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.

You're absolutely right; I just chose what I thought were the funniest of the anagrams created by an on-line anagram server, and only now see what you're referring to.

Believe me...in my great and true interest in never inspiring such a comparison again, I shall redouble my efforts in this particular area.

"openly closeted"?

is that possible?

this thread reeks - not just this post - the entire thread

speculating on the gayness of political figures

pathetic

sad

telling

fill in the blanks

as in

get a life

Chance... ruuuuude. If you don't like it, don't come in the thread that talks about. And don't queen out if you DO read it because obviously people in here DO want to speculate and ask questions. And guess what? There's nothing wrong with that. Sorry if you're like... intellectually above the rest of us or something. Good for you. Keep it to yourself and judge us from afar.

Anyway, I like Graham, and I don't care what he is because he's single and therefore it doesn't matter really at all to me. But McConnell... yeah, he seems like he's living a bit of a lie.

rude?

no I think rude is speculating on someone's "gayness"

speculating and psyched that it could be true

gotcha at work

let's get him

let's out him

now that's rude [-X

what i did is call u and others on the rudeness of it

ur so desensitized u don't even see it

"intellectually above u" - never thought it - never considered it

as for calling u and others on this BS - get used to it

maybe it'll sink in

somethings r black and white - and this is one of them

Chance, here's the thing. If, indeed, these three are both queer and vote with an anti-gay agenda, they need to be busted wide the hell open. They are damaging our continued campaign for equality and being wholly disingenuous in the process. They are lying daily to maintain a privileged position in our society (the senate status for one, the married state for another) they would actively seek to deny their gay brothers and sisters. It is not rude to want to expose that hypocrisy. It is ignorant to ignore it or wish it away.

I'm not militant enough to say that everyone should be outed. I do, however, draw the line at those people who are actively campaigning against our cause while indulging in dick on the down low. Those people should be exposed as loudly and sensationally as possible to discourage others from living the same lie.

I wholeheartedly disagree

nothing is gained by outing someone - other than destroying them

we do not gain by their destruction

u change people's minds by reasoning with them - not destroying them

it may take longer - but it is the right way

i get that if in fact they r gay - and they are supporting an anti-gay agenda, then they are bad people - and worthy of our disdain

but the rest of it is not for me

and i don't think it forwards our agenda which is equality

Just wait and see... Oh, BTW Gen... when you post for now on please use footnotes.

What do you think these guys are doing to us when they vote against ENDA or vote for the FMA? They're engaging in politics of destruction. (Man, I haven't used that phrase in eons! Kinda fun.) They need to be given a dose of their own medicine. I say bring 'em down. Hard.
