Is Net Neutrality Coming To An End in the USA? Find out December 14th, 2017

In November, my aunt, in her 70s, and from Fort Collins, Colorado had the election ballot issue to vote for or against establishing broadband. She is not a tech person; slow to the Internet; not sure of the issue. Plenty of pro-corporate propaganda thrown her way and she asked me how I would vote. I told her I would vote for it in a heartbeat. I explained why. And she went ahead and did that. It passed with over 55 percent of the vote. This topic is covered in the following video from Jimmy Dore.

It is done. Google your favourite news site for details. It will be there. 3-2 decision for dismantling it. By the way, that's also 3 Republicans and 2 Democrats. Once again, making America great again. So much winning.

I'm curious. Are Americans sick of all this winning yet?

Another victory against big, all powerful, all controlling government. Hopefully there is more freedom yet to come.

It is another shot against your oh-so-precious Freedom of Speech which is now withheld to those who can afford it. Those who cannot afford it will be silenced.

Yep just another victory for big, all-too-powerful, all controlling (and all corrupt) corporations.
There is more freedom (for them to f--k the average citizen's wallet & personal freedom) yet to come.

Ben knows that. It's what he wants...a pay to play world

eventually people will be pushed too far, and those corporate types will have to choose between their obscene wealth...and their heads

It's interesting that Trump's successes so far seem to be the eradication of Obama from history and the insertion of himself into the books. Of course, he's not going to be happy with the way historians will treat him and he will call it all FAKE FAKE FAKE.

They were not silenced before Obama’s power grab, they will not be now. It is the liberals who seek to contriol and limit speech. When did Republicans ever?

^ Sadly, because of Trump, the Conservatives up here are pushing for the same thing. I don't think the CRTC will let them get away with it.

This just reeks of corruption: the FCC Office of Inspector General did a study on net neutrality, and found that the entire GOP story about it is false. And since the information used was available to the FCC, that means the head honcho knew it. So when did they report get released? Not until after the vote.

So the whole argument the GOP used to kill net neutrality was false, and Chairman Pai knew it was.

The irony is that it was Republicans who called for the investigation.

^ As usual, they can't get anything done without lying and cheating and deception. I'm sure, though, that money is behind it.
