I'm not putting him down, and I'm not planning to waste my time being angry at him (not that it stops the hurt) and avoiding him. I don't know where I've given you that impression...

Anyway despite my best efforts the tears caught up with me tonight. I went through high-school so shy I didn't open up to really anyone, with no friends except one who isn't really close. And the first guy I open up to cuts me down in such a cruel way, that's why it hurts me so much.

The usual way guys, especially str8 guys, play with each other. So, never mind, man. Take it as a joke even if you were in an other mind set at the time. Remain his friend. They are YOUNG classmates and they're getting to know each other..That's already been stated...I read what JarodA typed..........They havent gone out on a date and his classmate NEVER EVER hit on him or suggested any "attraction"....But JarodA did add his classmate to Facebook as a "friend".....They both know the other is interested in "guys"...They have that in common.....

JarodA overreacted..Not one time did JarodA say he was "interested" in his classmate even AFTER the comment(s) was posted on his FaceBook page the other night........Jarod obviously went "quiet"after the Facebook comment was made probably not knowing WHAT to say or do because he THOUGHT it was real...That's why you have to talk to people OFFline, in person and ask questions..The very next day JarodA did talk to his classmate and the Dude said he was JOKING...


JarodA should not have gotten MAD and called the guy "Sick"...


Truth be told SOME people you can't joke around with or "tease" and you learn that when you're becoming friends...Some people can be silly and immature..Especially College kids...Is it NORMAL for College kids to do silly shit like that?......AbsoFuckinglutely.....They're still kids..

That's kind of wrong actually...that's a detail I left out.

On some Facebook game (I wish I could stop bringing Facebook into it ), not too long before this incident he left me a comment that said I was "simply a gorgeous person". I don't know what I was supposed to read into that other than "OMG wow he likes me". Then later I thanked him for the comment and the way he was, you'd think he really meant it.

Anyway I stayed home from course today (sick) so it'll be tomorrow now.

Nah it was fair enough for him to say something. If those two details I accidentally left out hadn't happened, I would've totally been able to accept it as a joke.
