If you don't want to buy lube. Buy hand lotion, not quite as good but will work better than spit. Suave is cheap and will work in a pinch.

Tip for you: Drink a freezing cold beverage (any will do but something with a high sugar count is best) about a minute before you do the nasty and your spit will be as thick as most lubes.
