Are any of you in relationships where you love each other and share something more than sex? Those of you who have found true love, do you feel your partner is trustworthy and is being faithful to you? To me it seems that guys are just all about sex and could care less about getting to know the person they are being intimate with. Thoughts? Just want to know if there is hope for true love....
 
I still believe that it is out there.

And I am fairly sure that there are a lot people who want more than just sex.

But I agree - its finding them that is the problem. ](*,)

I mean - there are loads of people on here that say they aren't after a shag - but you try meeting them in the real world and they all but disappear. :confused:

True love isn't just difficult to find - it's impossible to find.

True love isn't found - it's built.

You find someone you're compatible with. Someone who's willing to take a chance and make the attempt. Then you start building, brick by brick, step by step. There'll be missteps, mistakes, and some problems along the way. Slowly, the whole thing comes together. But it's never EVER finished. You have to keep working on it, repairing it, making it work.

Is it difficult? Yes. But it's fucking amazing when it's done. And the reason we're so happy about it and proud of it when we're done is because we've put so much time and effort into it. Yes, we got lucky in finding someone compatible who was willing to take the journey with us. But that just put us in the running - it was the actual creation and maintenance that we're proud of.

You won't "find" true love. You'll find someone who, perhaps, you can build true love with. Just keep looking. They're out there. :)

Yes, I have found (or built as Lex would say) true love. Yes, my partner is extremely faithful and we have much more than just sex. We have a lasting relationship that is built on trust and love.

It is possible...with the right person. Keep the faith. It will come to you too.

It is difficult to find but it can be done

I've been with my guy for 11 years now and a lot more than sex defines our relationship. If it was built around sex I doubt we'd have made it this far

u just gotta find someone who likes u for u, and wats almost the same things as u so u both can fall in love. :)

It's hard to find and keep keep. But I believe in different degrees of love. I have fallen in love several times but each time it felt a bit different and after a while it changed. Some changed to sadness others to just loving that person and not being in love anymore. I hate to say it but there is an expiration date on love. True or not. And my last relationship wasn't about sex and no one cheated. We had a lot in common and it turned into brothers after almost 5 years. It's a lot of work to keep every area going, even sex. Sometimes to much work. True love can't take away the hard work.
