Thank you for your fast reply. I can watch all the videos okay. However I can’t view my favorites like I could before the updates. When I watch a video and click on ‘add to favorites’ it does nothing. If I click on ‘view favorites’ it brings me to a screen that shows 1 of 0 pages. When I’m watching videos it shows that I’m not signed in at the top of the page. Hope this explains my problems.
Thanks for the additional details. Let me check with @JUB since that section of the site is managed by the web programmer.

So, this is my reply to your post.

By default, the reply is made in "what you see is what you get" (aka WYSIWYG) mode. I can do one of two things:
  • If I want to preview how that post is going to look, I can click "preview" in the upper right hand corner... up there... View attachment 1882920
  • Or I can click the [ ] icon which will show me the raw bbcode (bb is "bulletin board" not "bareback" 😜)

You have a window of time where you can edit your post. That time depends on your post count and whether you are a JUB Supporter. You're a JUB Addict, which gives you 5 minutes to edit your post. Why? Because if someone replies with quote to your post, then any edits to your post will cause the reply to not match your post. After 5 minutes, you would need to open a post report so that a moderator can change your post and ensure that any replies are consistent with those changes.

In the lower left hand corner there's a button that says "edit" that will be available during the time window when you can edit your post.
KaraBulut, thank you very, very much! In my earlier days here on JUB I was always irked by users who failed to thank people for help, and I would have thanked you for this right away

Just an update on this (it hasn't been resolved):
The new site is divided into two parts - one has a www.justusboys.com address (where the videos are located) and the other part is forum.justusboys.com (where the forum is located). There's an issue in passing your security from the forum part of the site over to the www part.

They're working on it but it requires changing the webpage code and that is taking some time.

You're welcome. We're happy to help.

Posts per page is a system setting and is the same for everyone.

Hi, I've still never gotten anything about how to RESTORE, as it was before the Great Rebuild, my status of getting DAILY DIGESTS of every thread that I've subscribed to. I've always depended on those, and the absence of these daily updates has greatly harmed my participation here.

Can anybody help me on restoring the daily thread digests to the threads I've posted in? My settings all say that I'm supposed to get exactly that, but it's not happening at all.

I do occasionally get some random update for some random thread here-and-there, which is pretty meaningless.

OK, I do see that a reply was sent. (Yeah - it took me three months to know that somebody had replied, BECAUSE I don't get the daily digests, which would have showed it to me last year.) Still not sure how to restore the previous fun experience I used to have in here. Looks like you're saying that may not be an option with the new software?

We were looking into this - there was a discussion about it here:

The tail end of the discussion was that the new version of the forum assumes that if you sign on to the forum, you would go to your watched threads, "what's new" and similar features to see what you missed. It only starts sending a daily digest when you haven't signed on a for a while (14 days was the setting the last time I checked).

Or in other words, it's designed that if you sign in to the forum today, it's not going to send you a digest because you've already had the opportunity to view the new activity that you wanted to see.

Where we left this was in post #210 where you were going to try it out and see if the new features worked for you.

There are new options that make the notification features more flexible.

When you post in a thread, it adds it to your watch list. You can also manually add a specific thread or a whole forum to your watch list.

If the thread is one that you have a special interest in, you can customize the watch status on each thread to indicate whether you get an alert when you logon or whether you get an email about that thread.

One thing that I have noticed is that when I am reading a thread and someone posts in that thread, I get an alert in the thread but there's no indication of the new post under Alerts. However, even if I am reading the thread, the new activity in the thread still shows up on my watch list. (Forums>Watched Threads).

I missed the daily and weekly digest also. But the daily individual email notifications (push alerts) works well. I have subscribed to most of the forums and auto-subscribe to any thread I post a reply in.

have I missed the naughty?
JUB:
I'm going to try to upload some more naughty reactions as well haha.

and it seems my view is set at 20 posts not the 25
JUB:
We have the default set at 25 which is quite a bit. We don't want to go as high as we did before. I don't think there is individual user adjustment for it.

Also, in the old system there was a way to see who had posted within a thread and how many posts they had made. Is that query available? Not a big deal ~

Don't ask me why I just found this area, I cannot leave a rating. I get the 3 bars that is colored dirty yellow, also a bar flashing from left to right. I hover my mouse over the stars to give 4-5 stars for the photo, but it doesn't seem to want to be rated. Also, I closed the friends media and reopened it and still I see the bars and the shooting bar ffrom left to right. What am I missing? Is it the problem of the friends page; Friend I can't leave a photo rating.

Do the bars appear immediately after clicking the "Leave a rating" button, or after you choose the number of stars and then click "Submit rating"?

Now I can't do anything. I was not able to choose any stars, and still can't. All it is allowing me to do is Like the image.

So I try to leave a star rating and then hit submit then the bars appear.

So I left that screen to look at my preferences, to see if I have any control line turned off and I didn't see anything regarding that. I went back to the image With the bars and they were gone and no rating is showing. Nor is there a any view counts.

I checked your permissions and you do have permissions needed to rate media images.

The orange bars are an indication that some sort of processing is happening and the browser is in a "wait" state. We sometimes see this with Firefox and with browser Ad-blocking software. If you have another browser, you might see if it works with that browser and if it does, then it's an issue with the browser or one of the browser extensions.

I am now logged into Edge and I have the same issue. I am not having the flashing bars, but I cannot rate a photo.
