The reason for this is because on this forum they have a spam feature which indicates if you are a robot. And once you post more or like stuff on here then it will let them know that you are a real person and you'll ve able to view more on here

whenever I click on somebody's account to visit it, it says I don't have permission to perform the action. how do I solve this?

The reason for this is because on this forum they have a spam feature which indicates if you are a robot. And once you post more or like stuff on here then it will let them know that you are a real person and you'll ve able to view more on here
 
I was sent code to my email address but don't know how to get to emails from your app

Why can't I view member profiles? When I get a notification a member is following me, and I click on the member I'm told I do not have permission to view the page.

I was wondering, why if u are have a "conversation" with someone on the site, that u can't post a video file in the conversation? thanks in advance...

The reason for that is cause your new on this forum and they have a bot protection and once you post more then it will go away knowing you are human
 
On the same subject, when you send a dm does the recipient automatically get an email notification? I got one once—only once—in the VBulletin era from "donotreply @ justusboys.com", quoting the whole message. I've sent a dm and I'm curious to know if the addressee can read it without being logged in.

Alerts and notifications are configurable by each member. If the person you're sending the DM (aka PM/Conversation) to has elected to be notified by email when they get a DM, they will receive an email. Otherwise, they will only see the direct message if they logon to JUB.

If you're a member who doesn't login frequently, you may want to turn on email notifications so that you will get a notice when DMs are in your inbox. Be sure to check that you have a correct email address. The forum software will inactivate your account if it receives bounce notices because of an invalid email address.

It's in your User Control Panel under preferences:

Also, worth mentioning... when we did the last upgrade, the term "conversations" (formerly Private Messages/PMs) is slowly being changed to "direct message" by the forum software company.

Thanks! This was my Question too
 
My computer was recently gone through a factory reset. I came back to JUB after and saved the cookies. I choose to remember me and keep me logged in, which I had chosen before, but now I had to chose again the remain logged in and it didn't and I wonder why it will not keep me logged in.

I would try logging out and then logging back in again. If that doesn't work, try deleting the previously saved cookie.

Thank you for your suggestion. This was accomplished from the factory reset. All cookies and cache removed then the hard reset was the procedure. It was after I logged into JUB post factory reset and accepting the cookies, that the very next day I had to log in again. I never logged out before. Since I have never logged out before, I wondered why would I have to login again.
