How do I delete my account ?​

1. Go to the Ask the Moderator Forum.

2. Open a thread there requesting the self-deletion.

3. The Admins will ask you to answer a couple of questions to confirm.

4. Don't open a thread here. You have to open the thread in the Ask The Moderator Forum.

Hey there, I was wondering, is it possible to sort messages in forums by "most liked" or search within them for specific words? Sorry if it's obvious, I just couldn't find the options.

Also is there a reason my messages are always needing approval from moderators and I am unable to visit specific people's pages due to lacking permissions?

The out-of-the-box forum software (xenForo) doesn't have a sort thread by most liked posts. There is an Add-On software package that would add this feature. JUB has been around since 2003 but the "like" feature was added in 2022, so the majority of the posts on the forum don't have "likes" to sort on.

Also is there a reason my messages are always needing approval from moderators and I am unable to visit specific people's pages due to lacking permissions?

Thanks for the reply and the information.
I have clicked on the three vertical dots and there is no camera icon there. What do I have to do to get that icon visible/active?

Ah. You haven't passed the anti-spam filter testing.

Suggestion for a quick resolution: add a few posts on the forum (e.g. go over to the Fun & Games forum and post in some of the games, post some images, write an intro thread, etc) to get some mundane posts and it should auto-upgrade you.

Depends on whether you are trying to upload your own or from other sources.

When you post a message here at the bottom it says Attach files click that and it will bring up different options where to find your file your looking for and it should post the video of it

It's probably that you're not using the video attachment button. The toolbar has a "more options" extension that is accessed via the 3 dots that are stacked vertically.



On the extended toolbar, this is the video attachment button (the camera).


There are some file size limitations on videos to prevent entire movies from being uploaded to the site.

Sorry that it took me a while to answer - I had to look up the settings.

The file size is tied to the member's usergroup.

I am a bit confused, but have been too lazy to ask till now…originally on JUB it was easy for me to add stories to my Thread “Blue Collar Worker Butt Smell” but something changed awhile back and now it seems I can only add my stories as a reply to a previous post of mine instead of a stand alone new story. I am doing this from an Apple Ipad. Again, originally I had no problem creating a new story within my thread…so hope this makes sense and you can direct me in the correct way to post future stories as stand alone ones.

That sounds like the normal process.

To break it down: the new forum has two ways to "reply".

If you want to quote the person that you're replying to, like I did with this reply, you go to the person's reply and click the "reply" in the lower right hand corner -

If you want to add a new "clean" post that doesn't quote another member, there's should be a box at the bottom of the thread where you can type your reply.

Why can't I view member profiles? When I get a notification a member is following me, and I click on the member I'm told I do not have permission to view the page.

It's some sort of issue with the file storage provider. It was happening a couple of weeks ago and was supposedly fixed. I've noticed that it has been happening again the past couple of days. We have a ticket open with xenForo to see what is happening.
