So it looks like i'm gonna be on my own this Christmas, i did have plans with two friends to have them round, but illness and work have fucked that up.

It's not worth the bother doing the turkey and all the trimmings, i have thought of just getting steak and chips out of the [Chinese restaurant] but it's hardly christmassy, so this thread goes out to all you other guys who'll be spending the day alone, What will you be cooking yourself, something traditional, just a ready meal, perhaps meals on wheels will be visiting, do you have any suggestions for me (no veggie/vegan crap) ?

I will be serving up Christmas pudding after a whole feast.

Would you like us to ZOOM you in like my family out in BC?

I spend Christmas alone by choice. Pretty much every other day too! I can sympathise but not empathise.

Quick! Get out your credit card and order a whole lot of stupid shit online. Don't open 'till Christmas!

Get something greasy and delicious and unhealthy (notice I said something not someone) that you ordinarily would feel guilty eating.

Watch Die Hard or something, rub one out, and go to bed.

That’s a normal Tuesday for Cormac

Drink a fifth on Christmas Eve and sleep thru Christmas Day

????
Really?

My bad. #-o

Please change it to Chinese MODS.

Thanks for the ZOOM offer Rare, i have something lined up with a nice little twink in Delaware, lovely long penis on him.

Other than that i'll just be playing my Nat King Cole Christmas album and necking lagers throughout the day.

I, too, will be alone over Christmas. Thank goodness
I 'do Christmas' with one friend a few days before as he goes to family over the holidays
Another I see just before Christmas for our celebration
My other friends all connect via text or phone calls
That is exactly how I like it

just another day only difference tv full of false joy as to what to eat i plan meals 2 days in advance depend what left over ect

the plus is all by myself

I'm rostered to do a double shift in the ER on Christmas day ](*,) .. suits me fine, will probably end up having cheese on toast for Christmas dinner before falling into bed.

^Tell me about it, i am doing shifts, 12 hours, on Christmas eve, Christmas day and Boxing day.

We are lucky in that the local cafes drop off hot food for us.

No worries

I'll come over with stuffed cabbages.

Nothing specific yet, but I am thinking if finding another friend who may otherwise have "no Christmas" and going there to hang out. Possibilities are 25 and 110 miles from here (and conceivably I may even consider two consecutive days for this). It looks like the weather will cooperate (nothing frozen falling from the sky).

I haven't even put up the little tree this year, or Mom's village, or the lights and wreath in the front window.

Zero Christmas spirit this year and no desire to have any.

^^
It took every thing for me to get the tree up. It seems that the older I get the less I care about traditions.

I mean we go all out for Christmas but this year because I broke my foot it just seems slap dashed and hurried and all kinds of shit! I mean having to rely on my folks has been a colossal pain in the ass! We went grocery shopping yesterday and I got a powered cart at the end they were scanning items and I was bagging them faster sitting down than they could have been standing. It was hilarious and sad at the same time sitting not getting up and I still beat them! I honestly felt little spirit this year as well! I mean this shit of not setting foot in a store to buy things plus I don't know where the Christmas shows were! My family had a big back log of regular season shows to watch! Last year seemed more christmassy than this year and we were in the thicket of it last year and were coming off cv19. I dunno!

had some nice plans with family on Xmas Eve but they are up in the air due to covid surge ----will do xmas with my 3 best friends---

When I have the money I get Chinese food. Not sure if I will this year as I bought something and they double billed me so I may not have the funds returned by Christmas day.

However after my TMS treatments I am oddly looking forward to Christmas this year. Even put up my little tree.

I did a home alone night by myself a couple weeks ago ordered in a small cheese pizza and a couple cans of Pepsi!
