I gotta say I hate how she looks there. They should've give her hot-pants (Daisy Dukes) not those panties. And for some reason Adrianne's body looks weird there.

I have to agree with you .
I like the shorts look much better than the stretch slacks that Adrianne has been seen running around in, I think it's just a problem with proper fit, maybe another pair that are more flattering to her shape.:rolleyes:
 
I think she's wearing the belt too low, and trying to do the Brittney Spears low waisted thing that's 'in' now a bit too much. We're just used to WW looking like this, in the shorts dept.

At least, that's just my opinion why it looks 'funny'.

She's a WOMAN... show some HIPS and some BOOTY.

The lower belt is throwing off her 'hour glass' figure, IMO.
 
^It's not the belt. Adrianne is very skinny, and seems to have very thin legs and no hips or ass; damn I don't mean to be rude, I'm just saying she's more of a skinny girl, Lynda was skinny too but she had hips.

Actually, if they found an actress who looked like that drawing you posted, that would be one hot Wonder Woman.
 
That WW suit really shows there is a credit crunch on. Seriously looks like a Holloween oufit. I'm a fan of the JMS version. Don't hate me lol. If this Diana was street then stick her in blank pants/trousers.
 
The scuttle Butt I've been reading is that DC is going to do a COMPLETE Re-boot of their "universe"... yet another Re Start... of EVERYONE.

I have to say I hate that newer WW outfit. It's the chocker, armband and crappy sliver ww on the chest. I know people hate the one she's wearing now but it felt right blending the ancient world with the world today. This looks lazy IMO.
 
Ok. So last night I downloaded, and watched the Pilot Wonder Woman... I didn't HATE it, but didn't LOVE it either.

She was certainly a lot more aggressive then I expected her to be, and well... kinda bitchy.

Also, everyone she lassoed, was around the neck. Was this really necessary???

Have I been so conditioned by Lynda Carter's version that I cannot accept a new Wonder Woman ???

Has anyone else seen it yet?
 
I saw about 20 minutes (two sections) of the pilot on line.....it was awful! Bad acting, bad fight scenes. Some of the dialogue was stupid!... I see why it wasn't picked up. Lynda Carter's version (the ONLY version, in my book) knew it was campy, and looked "fun". This newest one took itself WAY too seriously...which made some of the stuff laughable....
 
Do you consider the older version 'campy' ? I guess maybe it was (looking back now), but not like the old Batman was.

I guess I'm never going to get to see a new and improved Wonder Woman TV show/Movie in my life time. :(
 
Btw do you guys know what's going on in DC Comics? they're rebooting the entire DC universe starting in September (which means they'll start all over again and make some changes) they made a few changes to some of the costumes, for example Superman isn't wearing red undies anymore.

Well they gave Wonder Woman pants at first, the costume looked a lot like the one for the pilot...but then guess what? same thing happened, idiotic nerds who want to see Wonder Woman in a thong to get off looking at her complained and voila ! Her panties are back. Ugh. It's like she can't get an upgrade to a decent costume.

I agree..... Did not hate it.... but there was a lot of room for improvement. Did not care for the premise of Thymerscara Industries and the fact that she designed her costume to sell action figures, and the fact that She was Diana Thymerscara and Diana Prince. I think it could have been handled better.

The fight scenes were good would like to have seen this finished

... but I agree... it was a good start, but definitely needed some fine tuning and tinkering. (no offense to your screen name). :D
 
Sorry guys but I thought the pilot sucked. I can definitively see why they didn't pick it up.

Diana was too snarky, bitchy, too violent, and too emo for God's sake! She was like "awww why can't anyone understand I'm human?? they always expect me to be perfect" because you're not human bitch! C'mon that just wasn't Wonder Woman.

Elizabeth Hurley as the villain just reminded me of Sharon Stone in Catwoman.

Steve Trevor looked waaay too young.

The THREE identities was ridiculous. When I read about that I didn't know what to think but now that I've seen the pilot, it is completely unnecesary. She could've lived as Diana Prince/wonder woman.

And Adrianne Palicki doesn't have the looks. Even though she's really tall, she's just a skinny girl with no ass or legs and a pair of plastic tits. Wonder Woman needs to have nice legs and an ass.
