It's Time For Big Brother 8 (USA)!!! (Merged)

My favorites have never won this show,it's confounding and annoying,at least Danielle in my opinion is a great player and I don't have a major problem with her winning,though she was a enabler [to her father and a bothersome complainer at the end of the show]she is more deserving than alot of past winners.
 
The problem with this show is you never have any motivation to keep good players. In most shows you're on teams so you keep the good players at least halfway through... but here it's a single competition from square one so you never have any incentive to keep the strong and as a result the strong go out first leaving behind only the weak and annoying.
 
I have a question for anyone who might know,Big Brother 1 in America started out like the original... I think British version,with public input in the form of them voting on who should leave the house and ultimately win the game.Ratings were low so the American BB changed into the HOH and POV version we have now.Is the BB version we have unique to America or are other countries trying it or just sticking to the original concept,thank you in advance to anyone who knows the answer.
 
I'm pretty sure at least the UK still has the public voting...from what I saw of it on Youtube last year.

So who has what it takes? That's the link to the application for Big Brother 9. The only thing stoping me from applying is that I'm a Canadian and do not live in the US. :( On top of that, I'm under 21. I think when I turn 21, I'll get a dual citizenship and apply anyways, hoping they'll still accept me not living in the US. Anyone think that's possible?

Anyone taking bets on if Danielles boyfriend will show up at the finals (or if he's even invited?) or will she be all smoochy with Nick?
Not who I wanted to win, but Danielle did play the best and won the most competitions. Granted, probably neither one of them would be there if the other hadnt been. Individually they would have been voted out a long time ago.
Cant wait to see the houseguests reactions to Eric being Americas Player (although it was pretty lame for the most part). If they let America play next year, they just need to let the houseguests vote and then have ANOTHER vote cast by America. This would really throw a wrench into the game since the houseguests wouldnt be able to be sure (as much as they can in the game) who had what number of votes since the America vote would be a surprise on voting night.
I also wish they would have some twist where the current HOH had a chance to get to play for HOH the week after they are done. They wouldnt know if they could play again for HOH until right before the HOH contest starts. This would make things very interesting since the HOH could decide what they wanted to do knowing they at least had a chance to win again and not worry about not being able to compete. Do you take a risk and hope you win HOH again or play it safe?
 
Surge WTF? Just wanting to be a pain in the ass isn't cool it's annoying.
 
Oh, I wouldn't believe any CBS Big Brother poll. They cheated with the rules all season and completely lost my trust.

That's the only reason why I'm watching too. I just wanna see D&D get chewed out by everyone. I hope the audience boos.

I was more excited about the America's Player reveal before Eric became a tool. I'm just slightly interested now.
 
Cant believe Dick won.. I didnt like either but would have rather seen Danielle win.
 
wow, Dick somehow won. I'm amazed at the jury members' ability to look past his behaviour. Good for them, and Dick.
 
Thank god, better a Dick to win than a disgusting cunt. Danielle is despicable, using her father to play the game for her, completely expecting every little part of the game to be handed to her. The slimy brat wouldn't have given her father a cent.

I am SO glad Dick won.
