It's Time For Big Brother 8 (USA)!!! (Merged)

ugh..such a boring hour...though I did enjoy eavesdropping on Julie and Danielle's convo at the end..haha
 
OK, first, I love Jen. She's now my favorite BB houseguest ever, dethroning Janelle, who obviously has become inifinitely dumber since she fell in love with Will last season. Her and that stupid sign.

Dick's son was fugly. And he looks like such a loser. Mamma Dick was scary too. But it didn't really matter who won the game to me, they were equally vile. But now that they're back in reality, Nick and Daniele can realize how dumb they are to think they can last, Daniele's old boyfriend can finally move on to someone decent if he hasn't already, and Dick can find out how much people hate him.

What really bugged me tonight was the excessive use of the word "America." In the context of BB8, America means "Dick's loser son/friends and their auto voters."

Did anyone see Adam from Survivor Cook Islands in the audience?

It also fucking annoys me that they try to make it seem like the whole country watches this show, votes, likes Dick when not even 1% watches the show. They should say "Fan's Choice" and "Fan's Player" but they try to make this show bigger than it is. I'm glad this fucked up season is over.

I know! I'm ecstatic it's over. I've watched every season and never missed an episode (yes, even the first season), so I felt obligated to watch. It got really hard. We've sat through Mike Boogie (twice!), Jase, Alison, and the Nerd Herd. I didn't think it could get worst.

And I have to say, Mike is waaaay hotter than Nick.

Dick won. He was an asshole game play wise, but that was his game. It was a pretty negative and controversial game, he played, but it worked and the jury didn't make it a personal vote. Glad Daniele didn't win. She wouldn't have been in the finals if Dick didn't take her. He carried her ass.

I was telling my sister that if the America's Player twist didn't fit into Big Brother this year that Amber and Dustin probably would've been the final two.

Anyone notice how they didn't mention Eric's winnings? Oh and also next year CBS Employees and their family members can apply to be on Big Brother...

I want to add that I think Big Brother is a "true" reality show in the aspect of us seeing the people for who they really are. Other reality shows get butchered in the editing room. Big Brother has just revealed a lot of weird people and a lot of "fucked up" or "bad" things. Season 8 wasn't that bad, I liked it. It was entertaining.
 
Wish we had some closure on the whole Nick/Danielle and her bf. Very curious that he wasn't there.
 
I must say I really grew to like Jen she is one of a kind the recent flashback clips they showed of her covering her ears during Amber's tirade towards Eric and self involved musings as Jameka prayed on her Knees[after giving up 5 HOH competitions] were truly classic.Its funny how first impressions don't always stick,cause I didn't like her at first but loved Eric,thought he was cute and charming,then as he showed his true weasel and and over the top bad mouthing desperate kiss ass nature,I couldn't stand him. Jess and Jameka were my ultimate favorites to win but as usual with this show that didn't happen, all in all a really flawed season in my opinion,with CBS spinning of the D and Ds relationship and Dick's crappy behavior ...... and cue voice over["Never has a player gone so far to help another player'.]-please] not to mention there insertion in Danielle's off camera relationship by constantly trying to connect her to Nick,truly questionable behavior


And now for the most annoying and disturbing possible outcome from my perspective,[Just when I thought Boogie winning last year was as bad as it could get.]Dick's ultimate victory owes alot to the Richard Hatch like audacity and outlandishness of his game[plus that America's player thing of course,and his apponent] that enabled the evicted house guests to cast their votes in his favor.
 
Danielle road Dick a bit but only an idiot wouldn't... I mean what's stupid is not taking advantage of an oppertunity to let someone else do your dirty work. It's just smart gameplay. It's BS that everyone said she played worse now but when they were in the house it was DANI who they were trying to evict first.

I agree. As much as I hate Dani, I thought she was the stronger player, technically. They were aiming for Dani over Dick the whole time.

And that YouTube "interview" (or ass-kissing session) with Dani a few posts up...not all gay guys love her! Speak for yourself!
 
What would make me feel like I hadn't wasted so much time with this show is if we got to go home with every player and watch them die of embarrassment over who they are compared to who they think they are. Except for E D since what you saw was what you get, according to his son, and Jesus is that an awful, awful lot of ugly, ugly, ugly from his face, hair, body to his spitting and farting almost constantly. Who could stand being in a room with him with all that gas, but I guess all the hot air doesn't come out of his potty mouth.

I truly think BB should think about an after camera show and have each person followed as they get back into their lives, so we can be truly rewarded for all the putrid garbage this show has brought to us.

Never again, for me.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They keep on talking about Jen. They're obssessed with her! And I found out Jen is the nanny for Vanna White's kids. That's pretty cool.
 
Looks like we may get TWO Seasons of BB this year....possibly starting in January...and then again in the Summer
 
Thanks for the update SoapSank. I'm more shocked about Eric and Jessica still being together than Dick being a dick to his son.
 
I'm def going to one of the open casting calls...I'll take the day off work to go to the Boston one=) Either that or just send in my application and video....worth a try eh?
 
I don't think so...especially if one of them is a Celebrity edition...which could be fun
 
There's no reason to believe anyone won't watch including yourself lol I've tried it before trust me you'll end up watching
 
LOL, I'll watch if there are some really hot guys but the way they rigged last season was really disillusioning.
