Oh! I used to own a beautiful bay Australian Quarter Horse mare called R____'s Foxy Lady, or Foxy for short! She was my favorite horse from all those we kept over the years - such a sweetheart.

Are you a sweetheart, redfox? ;)

Well, BBB, the purpose of this thread is just to post pics of JUBbers' handwritings. That's all :) No need to separate those who write prints and those who write cursives. Hell, mine's combination of both

Sam, I'm not sure what to make of the horsey comparison! But yes, I am a sweetheart! Just ask anyone!

submitted for JUB's approval...

hand writing, signature, and my stylized initials (A V) that save my a pen stroke when I've got to initial a bunch of docs.

Well, I approve, in case anyone cares, of this complete sample with interesting and attractive handwriting.

And before Foxy or someone else asks, I'm not ready to post mine. :D

^ For one thing, I'm supposed to be working. Scanning is a bigger production.

Another sample of my handwriting, but cursive this time. Although I'm not so sure that it's much better than my previous effort! I can write better than this, I just need to take more time :D

Btw, this is the first verse of my favourite song, You'll Never Walk Alone.

This is my "nice" handwriting... which isn't as nice as it should be due to some rather severe joint pain I'm experiencing today. And that's not my official signature, just how I write my name on personal cards and notes.

This is my everyday handwriting, from notes taken in an actual interview meeting.

I wrote a quote from a favorite band of mine. I was gonna post something stupid and private from my journal but ruled against it. Yah for using work time for not work.

People probably think they can't read your writing because The Jabberwocky is written in a fairly obscure hodgepodge of not-exactly common English and what sounds like largely made-up words.

Nice touch! :D I suspect there is some head-scratching going on in this thread.

^ Yup, you're not wrong there, BBN

(Sorry Swellegant !oops!)

Btw, how legible is my handwriting? :-)

Not so hot... I had to puzzle over some of your letters, especially the verticals. I wonder if I would have understood it if I didn't know the song.

I didn't even think of that when I was writing my "Jabberwocky" exerpt... it's one of the only poems I know very well (Blake's "The Tyger" is the other one), and I just watched Alice last night (the 1990 miniseries, starring the adorkably babelicious Andrew-Lee Potts, which I heartily recommend), so it was the first thing that came to mind.

But I wanted to point out that half of my writing in the meeting notes was done without looking at the paper... I hate interviewing with people who don't look at me, so I was maintaining eye contact and scribbling at the same time (I gots the mad skillz ;)).
