Jan "High School Diploma" Brewer's Complete Disrespect of President Obama

I don't know that much about Arizona. Was only there once a long time ago. They seem to have an awful lot of crazy elected officials. Brewer, McCain, Joe Arpaio, Barry Goldwater, Jon Kyl, Trent Franks, and I can go on and on.

Are the people of Arizona that conservative enough to put these kooks in office? Must be the heat.

At least they had a good one with Giffords and look what they did to her.

A crazy man killed the judge and injured Giffords and the other people -- he had no association with anyone else.

When will you stop your propaganda of lies.

Sarah Palin is responsible. She is just as responsible as if she pulled the trigger.

"IT'S TIME TO TAKE A STAND"

Giffords terrified for her life because of Sarah Palin.

Stop blaming someone else.

ADDED:

North Dakota representative Earl Pomeroy:

“I thought, this is reckless and irresponsible, and someone deranged could be provoked with this type of activity,” Pomeroy said. “This extreme speech, from either side, is not a good thing.”

CowboyBob, Jared Loughner is a sick man who acted on his own from his own paranoia of being schizophrenic. He did not find inspiration from Sarah Palin to murder those people and nearly kill Giffords. Sarah Palin was wrong to create that picture because real, actual violence portrays the realities of how inappropriate volatile partisan politics is to the sanctity of life.

To believe Sarah Palin is directly responsible and has "blood on her hands" is to take an extremist position just like the Republican sympathizers on this board do on other issues. Rise above this.

There are lots of sick men out there, sort of like Bill O'Reilly who used the phrase "(George) Tiller, Tiller the baby killer." No, he was not directly responsible for Tiller's death, but there are so many Fox watchers that are so impressionable, that I cannot but think that Bill-O played an indirect role in Tiller's murder.

Tiller was first discussed on The O'Reilly Factor on February 25, 2005. Subsequently Tiller was discussed in at least 28 episodes before his death. On the show he was sometimes described as "Tiller the Baby Killer". Show host Bill O'Reilly did not invent the nickname; previously, Congressman Robert K. Dornan had used it on the floor of Congress. O'Reilly said he would not want to be Tiller, Kathleen Sebelius, and other pro-choice Kansas politicians "if there is a judgment day."

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to have to go and reload. You betcha! (!)

^^^

Tiller was a horrible man who did late term abortions, sucking out the brains of babies as they were being born after his blotched abortion attempts.

However, the man should not have been murdered. The guy who killed him was crazy and should have gotten a first degree murder charge.

Kathleen Sebelius (former Kansas governor who is unaffectionally (new word?) called Kitty Kat by people in KS and MO) promoted Tiller in the governor's mansion with lavish fundraisers so he could continue his quest to kill babies.

She is now HHS Secretary and forcing birth control and abortions on people who do not want them.

Back to the focus of this thread.

I'm going to resist by whatever means possible having an abortion no matter what she tries. There's no end to her treachery.

I'm glad you recognize there are right wing extremists on this board. They all posted replies.

You have such an eloquent way with words. Bad night tonight?

^^

Thank you Just Believe.

You're always there to put your worthless two cents in.

It's apparent no one watched the Gabby Gifford's video as she said she was afraid someone may shoot her.

Palin's violent rhetoric incites. No one really knows what went on inside Loughner's head. Did any of you interview him? I doubt it. Say he did tell the police Palin incited him. The police inform their superiors about this. It gets to the republican Governors and Senators. They insist this news not be leaked. Possible? You don't know.

If it hadn't been Loughner, it may have been someone else. Imagine if this had happened the other way around. The right wing would be out for blood. There would be demands for change.

Actions have consequences. Loughner did the shooting. He will be put away for the rest of his life. Palin's violent imagery...crosshairs, guns....slogans......"don't retreat, reload"..... are responsible and there are those who refuse to blame her. She dodged a bullet. Too bad her victims couldn't.

I stand by my statement.

:=D: to both.

I was thinking of this very thing last night as I read Orson Scott Card's novel Empire, in which these blind, irrational hatreds in the country result in a new civil war. Card pointed out in his Afterword that the level of blind loyalty to faction and utter hatred of the other side hasn't been this fierce since just before the Civil War. Facts are irrelevant unless they are supportive of the fanatic's own views.

Sorry, Bob, but your post is a perfect example of the sickness he described.

What was the Nazi term for Douchebag again?

Sorry, Bob, but your post is a perfect example of the sickness he described.

If Palin did not use firearm rhetoric to get her agenda across, do you think Loughner would still have searched out where Giffords was and shot those people? If Palin used rhetoric like "get out and vote" and used imagery of a voting booth, would those people be alive today? I believe they would.

After the shooting they were spinning this tragedy as those were images of surveyor crosses, not crosshairs. A complete and utter lie. Of course, after the shootings she took down the images and pulled her tweet. This shouldn't have been posted in the first place. Even the insinuation of violence should not be tolerated.

And now she's strangely silent politically, After she milked the ignorant with her" will she run? Send me donations." campaign she's down in her Phoenix mansion count her money and plotting what to do next for some fast cash.

Did Palin's rhetoric influence Loughner? Sometimes crazy is an excuse enough. However something she said or her graphic could have dripped down into his brain and influenced him. He latched onto something Palin said and ran with it.

But it doesn't matter because of the hyper charged violence rhetoric, that influences people who are on the edge. When you put targets over people and name them and say you have to take a stand against them... when you say .... Don't Retreat, Reload..... that influences people. Unstable people latch onto that shit.

The big thing is... Palin ran away from this....she took down the graphic and removed the tweet before we even knew who this guy was. What does that tell you? It tells you that she KNEW this was a wrong thing to say. The wrong thing to project. She once defended her imagery, she once thought it was appropriate but when it actually it happened she disowned it.

That says to me that she thought she may have been responsible. And she is.

Does anyone even give a shit what she or that looney tune Glenn Back have to say these days? Even Rush 'the Kingmaker' Limburgah is strangely mute about the political travesty being played out live in front of the last old angry fragments of white 'middle class' conservative America.

Do Palin and Rush suspect that along with Rove, that they might ultimately get the blame for the spectacular failure of the GOP clusterfuck for 2012????

LOL, speaking of paranoid schizophrenic rantings, look at Jan "High School Diploma" Brewer's refusal to back up her claims of beheadings and headless bodies in the desert.

Fast forward to 1:45 for this dried up prune's response to reporters daring the question her:

I disagree with you, Cowboybob. You are confusing shame over volatile partisanship with direct responsibility. Just because Sarah Palin's staff tried to hide away that image of the cross-hairs and make excuses for it, it doesn't mean they were responsible for what happened.

The real lesson learned is that politics should never lower itself so low in partisanship as to use metaphors of guns and violence as a means to defeat the opposition. For when an actual event does occur where some random, crazy person shoots somebody in government, it suddenly makes such references very inappropriate and foolish. That's what happened to Sarah Palin. She was made into a fool for some of the things she said. If anything, this was the event that probably took her out of the running for president.

However, she was not responsible for what happened. Her staff was not involved in a conspiracy of hiding evidence. Jared Loehner was a deranged schizophrenic who acted on his own, and Sarah Palin has and always will be a fool. That's it.
