If this was the only occasion where the Fratguys were accused of making homophobic comments I would be tempted to agree that it was a misunderstanding...However it has been documented here that making such comments there are more the rule than the occasional slip of the tongue.

When you have even the owner (John Marsh) making comments (sometime ago now) of a former fratmen ((Miguel)) fucking horses in a photoshoot he did for Playgirl and the continual use of fratguys speaking in lisps to mock gay men..they will say its done in jest but I am sorry i dont find it funny that you make fun of my sexuality..if some of you were not so busy worshiping these guys you would see that they are not these Gods you put up on these pillars. There seems to be an underlying homophobic antigay attitude prevalent at Fratmen/Fratpad.com, maybe thats why Jasun left them? Uhmmm just maybe?!?

Do yourself a favor and now that you are a member here scan through the fratmen threads here what members here have said and yes many of us were also members there at the pad or at fratmen.com or both.


The truth of the matter is this if any of these fratpad models met you on the street do you think they would give you the time of day or would they be more likely to try to avoid you? anyone will be your friend if you constantly tell them they are God's gift to the world, and you are buying them expensive gifts, but if you think the models at fratpad are your true friends you are truly delusional.

Unfortunately straight worship and self loathing homosexual behavior goes hand in hand. That's just a plain psychological truth. We tend as humans to worship that which we wish we could be or aspire to.

The truth of the matter is that these threads are almost ALWAYS wrong regarding the issues they discuss. They are started by people such as yourself you have no actual connection any of the members nor any of the Fratmen, and are a sorry attempt to insert half-truths and controversy into any given situation.

When you hardly actually interact with any of these guys, don't even pose questions, nor actually explore any issue with more knowledgeable members, and then go online to post your conclusions, threads such as this get started. Just look at what has already been discussed on this very thread. It started with random rumors regarding why the three stated Fratmen were punished. From getting a girl pregnant, underage sex, underage drinking, to friends of the two who were suspended entering the house, to issues of scapegoating, everything that has already been "concluded" has been FALSE.

Why should anyone believe the claims in this thread when everything that has been mentioned as "fact" is in fact wrong?

Time and time again ... the easily offended post rants that get increasingly negative. But how surprising is this? Having looked through the threads, the complainers are basically the same group of people who number less than a dozen, posting the same rants that take different forms every few weeks. This versus ... hundreds or maybe thousands of members?

And once again, without ANY actual evidence or even any kind of logical argument the same whiners resort to the same tired old, "oh you disagree, so you're really just self-loathing," or "oh I'm offended so you must be a homophobe," statements.

According to various Fratmen and to nearly all the members who interacted with him, the guy was basically an idiot. Several members have said he once simply put a can in front of the camera for an hour, others said he stole or used things without asking, and others said he purposely stranded and got other Fratmen into trouble for self-gain. Basically, he was universally disliked and made fun of relentlessly by the members.

It comes as no surprise that when members found out he was on another website, they once again started making fun of him. For some reason certain people on this thread believe that: 1) members who made fun of him for taking it up the butt are self-loathing gays, (after all according to them if you are gay and make fun of anything remotely related to gay sex, you must hate yourself), and 2) the Fratmen whom he was a douche to, must hate gays because they laughed at him for showing up on another site (no it can't be because they think he's a total idiot).

I have not seen the video in question, and of course context is everything.

However, it sounds like Max and Taylor may have been engaging in what shrinks call 'reaction formation': saying or doing the opposite of what in your heart of hearts you desire. The bigot who gives money to the NAACP, etc. Often the biggest homophobes are the worst closet cases.

Both these guys have done everything but anal -- on line, at least. Something tells me they're achin' to try -- if they haven't done so privately already And of course seeing Gavin/Jason getting it from a hottie like Trey could only enhance their curiosity.

As with a lot of these other sites, I think several of the fratpad models belong to the 'bi-curious' subset looking to test the waters in an environment that 'supports' their heterosexual identity.

If as stated above the majority of patrons are DL/closet cases themselves, I think the webmasters take pains not to allow things to become too 'gay': seeing 'straight' guys like Max, Taylor, etc. mess around and still be 'straight' affirms the rationalizations of these patrons. They walk a fine line between the homoerotic and the frankly homosexual, and perhaps anal would be too frankly the latter. I think the same line of reasoning was at play in the early Sean Cody videos where the guys did everything but kiss: that would be too 'gay'

What I'd be interested in knowing is just how many 'fratmen' emerged from the pad a little more 'open minded' than when they went in

I don't think they have an actual subscription. What happened was that several members brought up the issue to the guys and the chatroom, and began to make fun of the situation. It's an interactive site, and members bring up topics more than half the time. I cannot underestimate how much some members disliked Gavin. Unfortunately they practically egged the fratmen on and turned it into a discussion. It actually only lasted a few minutes, though this topic would seem to indicate it went on at length.

As a member I have made an effort to get to engage in discussion, get to know the members and the fratmen, and have found that the site is a very open community. The difference with me and some naysayers I believe, is that I actually TRY to get to know people. This post has been riddled with false rumors, and the sad thing is that if one had patience and just asked around, the answers would have been there. Instead of actually looking for the truth, people post rumors the second they are offended.

I think if it's fair for John to provide the link you request, you should provide evidence for your contention that John accused Miguel of fucking horses. That's one heck of an accusation.
Also, I find "self-loathing" an offensive term. I don't understand why anyone would accuse his fellow gay of something like that based only on sexual tastes. It's mean and rude.

Unfortunately John who ran the Fagstag Blog in which he posted the statement in a thread that "Miguel" was into gay sex a little too much at the pad and that he feared for the horses in the photo shoot Miguel did for playgirl..took down the post soon after it was brought up here sometime ago and soon after that the Fagstag blog disappeared. All I have now is my word in which i can say it happened and the word of some fellow JUBBERS who also saw the thread the post in the Fagstag Blog and some former fratmen who also saw the post in his Fagstag Blog..so Its my word against his but hey I am willing to take a lie detector test to prove that i did see and read it there, Is John? If I am so labials in my statements John sue Me!..you can't and won't because you know the truth John!!! Will you John take a lie detector test to say you never printed that there or were responsible for it being there? after all the Fagstag blog was ran by Pavolov's Dog and you are the CEO so the blame and responsibility lies with you.
