Hello,

I've never worn jeans in my entire life and I'm thinking about buying a pair. Should I?

YES! Guys in jeans are sexy. Worn in jeans are as comfortable as a pair of sweats.... There's a 100 reasons to wear jeans.

What have you been wearing?

A mixture of dress pants, sweats, the ones with a lot of pockets what ever they are called.

I suppose I'll give it a shot :P

Depends.

1. Why haven't you bought them before?
2. Why do you want to buy them now?

The answers to these two questions will determine whether you should buy jeans. :)

Jeans (not those skinny types) are a great way of lifting and enhancing the derriere!

Unless of course you feel you are already gifted with a visually stunning derriere, in which case, I can't think of another reason to buy them!

1. Most of my clothes my parents bought me, and I was trying not to look "gay" !oops!
2. I don't care what they think anymore. And I've always wondered what they feel like.

Like literally I've NEVER worn jeans in my life. The most amount of "jeans" I've worn is a vest.

Jeans (or even the denim material) aren't really seen as a gay item of clothing, it is very common to see the majority of people here wearing jeans when not in work gear (some even then).

You wear what you want to wear and bugger anyone who says otherwise!

Where exactly are you where jeans are considered "gay-looking"? If anything, some gay men will dismiss jeans as being too common-place and uninteresting. :)

And given those answers, yes, go buy some jeans. You don't have to go nuts first time around. Go to Target, try on a couple pairs, and pick out the one that feels best. I'd suggest Old Navy, but they apparently don't carry "blue jeans" anymore. Just painter-style, loose-fit, boot-cut, black, pre-distressed pant items and the like...

Only a mama's boy from an uptight aristocratic family doesn't wear jeans!

OMG are you kidding ? it's weard how difernt we all are. BUTT still the same!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now..Explain something to us..Is this Topic really about a pair of $20 to $80 jeans or is it more about you being comfortable in your own skin as a Gay man?

Even if you decide not to buy a single pair of jeans for the rest of your Life are you comfortable with your sexuality?

If you want to. My brother doesn't wear jeans (just slacks and khakis) and he's turned out all right.

Levies 511. Perfect pair of jeans.

Or if you have a ton of money, head to the nearest Diesel. I love their jeans.

You should get some.

I wear jeans usually to work (nice ones). I rarely touch dress pants or slacks, I look hideous in them, and they're uncomfortable and high maintenance. My mix of pants consists of jeans, cargo pants (especially the type that zip off to make shorts), and track pants. I also have some sexy sweatpants from N2Nbodywear.

Anyway, research which jeans you'll buy. In other words, go TRY SOME ON. Preferably not low-quality jeans. Low quality jeans have a poor feel to them, they feel scratchy and thick.

A good pair of jeans feels smooth and comfortable. Be prepared to pay $80 and up for a good pair. It's worth it. Don't buy jeans with overly complicated designs unless you like that sort of thing.

Have you ever tried G-star jeans? I find them superior if you're willing to spend that much.
