I haven't seen your other posts but I did read your post yesterday and 6 hours later I was reading some short stories by that acerbic Scottish genius called Muriel Spark (who wrote Jean Brodie). And I did notice a similarity.

Oh, I don't hold it against anyone if they don't like my threads. I'm still pretty new here so A LOT of people don't even know who I am or my humor. And to be honest, this is one of the most accepting message boards that I've ever been to. I tried posting on another popular gay message board once but everyone just pretty much ignored me. haha.

Hmm...I've never read anything from Muriel Spark. I did just recently read William Trevor's "Miss Smith" for the first time. I'm sure a lot of people probably read it in middle school. It made me feel like I should get back into short stories again. I'll have to read some stuff from Muriel though. Thanks for the recommendation!
