MSNBC is not in all areas. We just had it added to ours this past month.

If all the good folk in the trailer parks across the US had to pay for FOX 'n Friends, there audience would probably shrink up some.

Not that I would waste my time watching the MSNBC morning slot either.

Or any mindless idiot pap tv first thing in my day.

First off,who gives a fuck? Are you proud that MORE PEOPLE willingly tune into Fox News to be shamelessy lied to by right wing hacks? Apparently so..

Also,since you forgot to mention it.Just about everyone with a remote control gets Fox News for free as part of a basic cable package.Seems only right that they would draw more viewers than MSNBC,a channel that in many markets,is only part of better channel package THAT COSTS MORE.

As for bias: I'm not disputing FOX's rightist tilt, but they've still got Geraldo Rivera, Shepard Smith and Greta Van Susteran, hardly right wing extremists. On the other hand, the ENTIRE MSNBC prime time line-up are left of left of left. Can you think of any issue upon which Schultz, Matthews, Olbermann, Maddow and O'Donnell disagree?
