JUB a growing! A BIG thanks for your support!

[JUB]

JUB is growing, especially the message boards. In Feb 2010 we are at #408 on Big Boards and now we are at #367. I just wanted to give a big thank you to everyone for your support. I also owe a great deal and thanks to the people who moderate the JUB message boards. Without you guys the message boards wouldn't be where they are today. Please help me thank them for their hard work.

We still have the JUB magazine which is all over the US and distribution is now 125,000 copies. I have big plans for the future of JUB to make it even better and make it easier to connect with people. It is just great to hear about all the people who have connected on here and how JUB has changed their lives.

Also on another note JUB is matching 10k in donations to The Matthew Shepard Foundation. We are a little over 2k and I really want to get to 10k so I can match it. Anyone that can donate anything is greatly appreciated and I want to thank you to those who have donated. This money will go to a great organization that will continue to help stop hate and violence against us.

Thanks Mark for keeping JUB going.

Like ChickenGuy (Andrew) my life would be so much different if it were not for JUB. JUB saved my life. If it were not for JUB I would still be a lonely unhappy guy destined to be lonely and unhappy always. Through JUB I was able to see there are people like me, I deserved to be happy and I got help and support when I needed it most.

I have a thread http://www.justusboys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=322694 as a brief thanks and celebration, but I'll say it again as Andrews story has reminded me how far we both have come in one year and how much we owe to JUB.

This place is one giant family to me. I hate to think how I'd be in 2010 had I not found JUB. I'd probably still be in the closet, unhappy, alone, confused, and not have been to many places I have/met so many great guys in person, since I have been a member!

I can only echo what others have said in this thread, and I have often mentioned how much difference this place has made to my life in a very short time.

Mark, I hope you will be able to promote and advertise and publicise these forums to as many young and isolated guys as possible, not just in America but also all round the world. Communicating online with others for the first time (as I did) is a great confidence builder, and also shows being gay in such a positive and human light. I would hope that you can appreciate this forum's importance, not just that of the porn and the magazine.
