I thought tonight's Cometti-ism was a beauty: Scarlett (Cats) remonstrating with umpire about a free kick awarded against him. Cometti "Frankly Scarlett does give a damn."

Well guys. I love that expression footy tipping. I'll wager that it comes from the fact that at some time in the past gambling or such activity was frowned on. So under the table, the feet tipping one another was a way to communicate the objectionable information. It also sounds like something people a foot fettish would enjoy. I'll be watching to see how it goes. :wave:

Insipid is what I'd call the Eagles' performance tonight. :grrr:

Not driving home till tomorrow, but .... we'll be back for the next home game! ..|

Managed to get tickets yesterday to the Footy Show at Burswood on the 19th .... quite looking forward to that!

Don't forget to wave to the camera - will be looking out for you! As long as they don't have Crawford on it will be OK - if he had another brain it would be lonely. I turn off whenever he is on.

My poor Hodgey copped a bit of a squirrel-grip from one of your boys AJ, can't say I blame him, I wouldn't mind giving Lukey a squirrel-grip myself, in a nice, affectionate way though.

Oh isn't that a beautiful ladder.
I am so pumped up for Saturday at the MCG, it's gonna be absolutely massive.
I hope theweather holds out, cause if it does there could by 85,000 there!
Next three weeks are our big test. Pies, Dogs and Dockers in Perth....win two of those and top spot is ours.

All came undone for the Eagles when Benny went out of the team, things were starting to look a little grim then and it just went from bad to worse!

Things are starting to go against us this week though, we can't train at the Cattery, altho we have found a lovely baseball diamond for that!:confused:

And there's talk of them bringing back Steven King #-o....major worry that one!

Fortunately even if the same thing happens like last year (we will never discuss that again!!!) at least we're still on top at the end of the round and preparing for a Friday nighter against the Dogs
