JUB Fantasy Hockey League

I can make it now, its not a problem for me.
 
I'm sorry guys. I wasn't able to salvage our draft today. We had an odd number of teams and Yahoo won't let a league draft with an odd number of teams. I did get my roommate to sign up with us but it wasn't in time for tonight. I can't draft til Wednesday night at the soonest. I have set the draft for Wednesday night. I need to hear from everyone in the league to see if that night and time is good for you. If that night isn't good for ya'll we might just do an autodraft which means yahoo will pick our teams for us. I hate that but it might be the only way for us to have this league. Please PM me with night and time ya'll are availible.

Just so that all is aware. We have settled on WEDNESDAY 4:45PM EST. I know this is early in the day for some of you but the NHL drops the puck at 7:00pm and don't want to lose a day of stats. So if you can't be their please, please pre-rank your players and remove guys that you don't want on your team otherwise you'll be stuck with people you don't want. Thanks everyone for being so understanding. Hope we have some fun this year. I so FUCKIN excited that hockey starts tomorrow. Well...thursday for me..LOL (DETROIT BABY!!!) Anyway see ya at the draft.

I have no control over how the draft goes. If your not present the computer (Yahoo) automatically will pick the highest availible ranked player from your list. If you did not pre-rank your players according to how you would draft them then it will give you the next availible highest ranked player. If you don't know how fantasy drafts work then this will make zero sense to you. Once again I'm so very sorry that this got so fucked up...unfortunelty we had to do it at this time so that we get our teams assembled before tonights games. Thanks everyone for signing up, I was able to come up with an additional 3 teams so we had 10. Be nice to the straight boys who have joined us so we can have a good time. One of em' is my roommate so be very nice to him...LOL Anyway I'll see some of you there tonight and the rest of you I will talk to soon. Lets have some fun and GOOOOO RED WINGS!!!!!!!! (that was for you Okey Dokey)..LMAO...:kiss:
 
Did you just bump it back an hour? It says the draft is at 3:45 MT (5:45 ET) rather than 2:45 MT.

You may as well just set it as 6 ET for Okey :) Im sure we can get it done in an hour, the computer will be picking for those that arent there and I have my list ready to go...
 
I'd do it but I live in Manhattan and I'm a Rangers Fan. I love hockey, but these days, I'd have better luck with "pond hockey" if y'all know what I mean. Go team!

Haven't seen much posting or trash talk on here. Just wanted to get your attention. We have a very good league going right now. A few teams need to get her goin but I'm sure they will, as the season is still young.

I just made a post on our team page about trading players. Their is a really great way to show other teams who you are willing to trade and what other teams want. Just follow the directions in my post. (See below)


Just wanted to let you know that there is a really sweet way to advertise players that you want to trade or see who is available on others teams. Go to your team page and click on the players button. Then click on "trading block" There you can edit your team and place players on the block and tell teams what your looking for. This should entice some trades and make it easier for some of the newbies to figure out how to get more involved. If you guys have questions just ask.

Even though my goalies suck, I will steal first place with the awesome amazingness of Selanne, Crosby, and Iggy.

I also just remembered about the trash talk board. I figure it's time I started abusing it.

Fuckin sick night from Crosby bro!!!! Thats just crazy! However to take first place from BLS I have to jump over you as well. So consider yourself warned..(!)

Sid got me 5 assists and a goal :eek: add to that, Selanne got me 2 goals and a GWG, and Obrien gots me a game misconduct... Iggy has been playing like a man possessed lately and is #1 is even strength scoring.

Now if only Huet and Emery would pick up their play... it sucks having 2 back-up-turning-#1 goalies instead of 2 solid starters :/
