I thought that was creepy too. I knew at 18 if I was going somewhere like court (or something)(which I never did) that you needed to at least wear a nice button down shirt, pants and decent leather shoes.

well, she called people all sorts of names to put down people. I think people have the right to respond to her rudeness. I think she's more than a bitch on tv for entertain value but probably very nice in real life.
 
You have no right to call that woman a bitch. Those people absolutely deserve to hear the things Judge Judy says to them. Our society is full of parasites and it's good to have a voice that will still tell it like it is!

i don't consider a judge as a god where people can not respond .

if people what entertainment , why not let the people in that show rude back to her?? That would be priceless Television.

If you read her biography, you would know that she is where she is today because of her attitude. She became a lawyer (and later, judge) at a time when women were supposed to stay home and keep the house, have children, and make sure hubby has a martini waiting for him when he gets home from work.Add to that the fact that she's a very short lady (1.55 metres).

She needed that attitude to be taken seriously and to be noticed.

Name one court in the world where the litigants are allowed to be rude to the judge.

Judge Judy is awesome, I remember when I was younger and my grandmother would watch her on TV and I wouldn't be interested in it. Then about a year ago I started watching her cases on youtube, and seen how funny and entertaining they were.

It's okay for the litigants to be rude to the judge or court? Going into court with a low-cut top with their lady bumps hanging out all over the place isn't rude and disrepectful? Trying to talk over the judge isn't rude?

She's a no-nonsense type of judge who doesn't put up with anyone's crap. If you watch her programme, you see that she is rude only to those who deserve it.
