No I'm serious. She really is. Issues, that one has. She has not killed herself however, and I doubt she ever will. She wouldn't be there to enjoy the attention if she did.

I don't like the woman....or her acting. I really like her brother Eric and I read a lot of stories years ago about their relationship and I came away with an unfavorable opinion of her.

I get along just fine with my sisters, though recently I'm starting to wonder about my oldest sis and her decision-making skills. I won't rehash it here but it's in my blog if anyone cares to read.
As for Ms. Roberts, I never really cared for her. Never got why she was called "America's sweetheart"...

As hard as it was, i cut my two younger siblings out of my life. They are homophobic to the utmost degree, mainly caused by my late fathers, Glaswegian working class, older generation viewpoint on "Queers".
No loss, now. Though it broke my heart at the time, especially since they are both so young.

There was little emotional contact between my elder brother and myself.
I must admit though that if he hadn't died when he was 21yrs old I would probably have made the effort to build up some sort of relationship. So it is with some regret that I find myself brotherless now.

I cannot judge Roberts as an asshole since I don't know about her relations with her sister. But the picture and the statement underneath seems provocative and very much like a red herring.

I agree, except I'd make one slight difference between the two... I never even knew Julia had any sort of reputation or legacy as a bitch or mean person, until I read this thread. The extent of my knowledge about her personal life was that at one point during the height of her career she was dating some fugly guy who had Howard Stern hair. She didn't get in front of the nation and jump up and down on a couch showing off what a bitch she was, lmao.

I have an older sister who I had to cut out of my life. She has a mental disorder which makes her extremely violent. She has ruined at least four marriages that I know of, physically abusive to her step children and bet up our mother while ma was in chemo. The one time I caught her I nearly killed her, so for mutual safety, there is a restraining order against her. Sadly I wouldn't card if she dropped dead tomorrow.
I have an older sister who I had to cut out of my life. She has a mental disorder which makes her extremely violent. This lead me to read about her brother Eric Roberts and it would seem Julia's mother married Mote's father who turned out to be an abusive drunk with unemployment issues. Mrs Motes divorced citing violence during the marrriage. I can see why this would have lead young Missy Motes to being a overweight kid with attention seeking problems especially if she grew up in an unhappy household. Seeing her half sister being glamorous and successful in contrast to her own life may have fostered a lifelong jealousy, in which any well meaning word from her sister is seen as sibling criticism.
Leaving all that aside, I have had my ups and down with my siblings. I'm closest to the sister who is nearest my age. My brother left home when I was small, and ever since we've had a strained relationship. We live near by, and we nevertheless set aside our differences as our families matter more than our petty squabbles. My other sisters and I have an ok relationship. Both our parents are gone, and for their sakes and memories, we keep in touch.
My dad, before his death emphasized the Chinese saying : 家和萬事興 when the family is at peace, a myriad things are successful. I have taken this to heart.

Julia does seem a bit 'better than all of you' but I don't hate her for it. She's not all that talented as an actress either. Kinda B- or C+ if you ask me.
As for my brother and sister? Well my sister lives in a million dollar home on the water with two perfect kids and a successful husband about 60 miles away. Good for her is my attitude. I love her and all but we are kinda distant. And my bro is slowly dying of auto-immune diseases and other major health problems. He does't expect to live to see 2015. It's so depressing it's hard to talk to him. I should more often cause he might be gone soon.

It might be true... it might not. Like you, this is the first I've heard of it so I question it's validity. There are few secrets in Hollywood, especially with stars of Julia Roberts popularity. I'm not going to automatically believe it just because some disgruntled jealous sister said so.

Eric Roberts was one of the only "movie stars" I ever had a crush on...what can I say... I like Aries men
...so I read a lot about him back in the 7os and 80s and I remember a lot of articles mentioned he and Julia's relationship at the time and I didn't like some of the things she said. I don't even remember what they were but I was turned off by her for some reason.
