Hermanus lies about 115km southeast of Cape Town.
Hermanus, which lies on Walker bay, is probably the best land based whale watching spot in the world. The peak viewing times are between August and December. The most frequently seen whale in this area is the Southern Right Whale.

The Krakatua is impressive like the volcano in Alaska especially with the pyroclastic flow spilling down its sides.
I've seen the Horseshoe Falls in Niagara up close but never from this angle. Kinda strange to see it from this angle.

Sorry if I jumped the gun a bit ^ I actually had one on my computer at work which I posted a little while ago, the European sunset above. Hope you like it...
