I'm not sure but I think this is a chipmunk. Soon after I took his pic I ran out of batteries for the camera.
Still I managed to catch him having a nibble and getting cross when someone else approached. Pity I wasn't able to take pics of the woodpecker, snake and other animals I saw at Kouchibouguac National Park. Or the bogs, dunes and salt marshes for that matter.
