^ The only city in Quebec that has this.

Underground city, Montreal
Montreal's Underground City (French: La ville souterraine) is the well-known underground city complex in downtown Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is also known as the indoor city (ville intérieure) as not all of it is underground.

In 2004 the underground city was rebranded and given the name RÉSO. The rebranding effort was managed by Bélanger Branding et Design. The name RÉSO is based on the French word réseau, or network (as in a network of tunnels).

It's the biggest underground city in the world.

A museum visit today so I took these photos to add to the collection that belamy has built up for us.

It is the museum of Asiatic Arts located in one of the municiple gardens of Nice; it was designed by Kenzo TangE a Japanese architect.

The pyramid is the tropical plant house in the same garden.
 He´s not Chinese, as you said.

Artistic rendering of a really big bird from Native American folklore known as the Thunderbird. There's an actual posibility that these huge birds did or maybe still exist.

This is someone's sketch of a photo they remember seeing in a book when they were younger.

I love Mothra! I used to watch the Mothra series of movies...they were so good. Here's a picture of an Atlas Moth with a wingspan of 1 foot.

This picture shows the reconstructed silhouette of the extinct teratorn Argentavis magnificens. Argentavis is known from Argentinia and was a relative of modern american vultures. It was the largest known bird, which was able to fly.

Cthulhu making an appearance on a Moscow sidewalk. The ravening eldritch squid-dragon's writhing feelers reach everywhere!

Aww... he looks like a little insane drunken angel.

I would be careful about saying that to his face as I recall Cthulhu isn't exactly a guy/thing that you want to mess with, unless you are epic or something.

People say they have seen them and say they're the size of a small aircraft. Some of the accounts are chilling to listen to.

Is that like the Mothmann thing?

Here's somethng I've never heard of before:

This bridge and tunnel actually goes under the water to allow movement of ships. In order for ships to pass, this bridge is half under the water. You drive down in the water and then come out on the other side. Truly a marvelous piece of engineering! This bridge is between Sweden and Denmark. Picture taken from the side of Sweden.

There's one like this here in the states. Althought I can't remember where. I only remeber seeing a TV program about its construction. Great photo though.

:( Today was the last day of my tulips. Finito, over, kaput, no more tulips in bloom on my balconies. If only it had been a little bit cooler this past week I could have enjoyed them a bit longer. And here also are the last of my tulip pictures. After the tulips it's the alliums, and then the clematis which has been growing like mad lately

This is either a case of "love is blind" or an example of "opposites attract" or even just to show that everyone can find that special person and shouldn't give up hoping.
