^ I'm not a big Andrea Bocelli fan but those lyrics and that picture are absolutely beautiful. I think they capture the spirit of this thread perfectly. I love seeing the world through someone else's eyes, seeing bits of it I will probably never see. Sometimes it's weird, other times it's funny or sad or beautiful.
Thanks JohnnyAngel!

Amazing pics and_rew!
Hope you guys don't mind but I want to go back to the birdies for a minute. A friend of mine has a thing for peacocks (he really hates the noise they make :grrr: ) He spent the night at a project for kids we both work on which is next to a petting zoo. The peacock kept him up all night.
So when we had another chance to work together we made him a costume. A few months after these were taken he got married and I made him another costume. This time a miniature version of the one in the pics.
As my friends and I knew he was going to Paris for the honeymoon we told him that in order to get his wedding present he had to go to the top of the Eiffel tower and cry like a peacock and bring home pictures as proof. Which he did :=D:

These were taken one sunny Sunday afternoon when we tried the costume out in the park

YEAH it was :D

The look on people's faces when they saw a human peacock walking through the park! Especially when the tail was lifted in the air and displayed to it's full height and width, the sun reflecting off the "eyes" and my friend making that ugly noise the peacock makes. We even scared a few dogs
