I do wish people would title the photograph so that I know where it is or what it is.

I've often thought he same thing. I wondered if there was an unwritten rule that you were meant to post the pics "silently" and see what other people came up with in response.

We aren't all world travelers - so we don't know one city scape from another, necessarily.
The Eiffel Tower is a landmark, and I even am getting more of the post Olympic scape of London with the mega ferris wheel and the funky twisted "Faberge' eggish" skyscraper - I mean the Tower, Parliament are easy.

But, . . .

As for if I had ever asked - I have echoed David's requests in the past, and I try to ID my photos - asking by example, as it were.
