I thought I was the only one.Spent several hours trying to figure it out, thinking it was an issue with security settings.Today I was able to log on a few hours ago. grrrrrrr


Getting a few "bad gateway" pages here and there,and the "smileys" didn't work for a while.

I am experiencing a problem with the text box now, it is greyed out and I cannot type anything. Reloading the page sometimes fixes it. I don't know what's going on.

I haven’t had dairy in about 2 weeks, before that I gave up most dairy besides cheese. I’m pretty happy with this because I didn’t think I would be able to do it.

I did a gig for a promotional group last year that went over extremely well. They told me how much they loved my work, and that I was guaranteed a slot for this year. I contacted them about a month ago, and was told yes - I would be back. So I spent a fair chunk of change to get some supplies I would need for the gig this year - all very specifically geared towards this company.

...oh, wait, just heard back that they won't be needing my service this year.

My grief at the moment is stupid articles. There was one I just read on the askmen site that had the gall to claim'diminishing returns' for a higher sex drive should it be acted on, along with the implication that there's just not enough intimate discussion going on if you're having sex twice a day. Of course, it also assumes the sex is partnered - beyond Jill and her four sisters, in other words. I'd like to crumple up the article and lite it afire. And not one word about masturbation- I'm sure whoever wrote it either dismissed it or had forgotten it counts.

The other day I made spaghetti with squids. Actually it was squids with a few spaghetti lol... and I was craving cheese... as you know you never mix fish and cheese... but I threw in a big chunk of diced Pizzarella :dead:

Wasn't fresh. It was the commercial type that tastes better when cooked.

I know there are some seafood dishes that I use cheese in..

I do a Clams Casino with pancetta and a good sprinkle of Parmesan and breadcrumbs before they go under the broiler.

Also...a breaded shrimp parm with smoked mozzarella cheese on top of pasta. :drool:

I know there is more :)

Looking online the reason behind this is that fish has a delicate flavor and cheese would cover it. It still seems weird and unusual to combine the two, maybe it's just a collective conviction. Mine was an experiment as I used string cheese (wanted to make something fast and good) but I didn't notice a flavor loss.

I actually use grated cheese in pasta in brodo as well to make it creamy. When I tell people they scowl at me :lol:

I don't know what's going on in the 'fixing Jub' process but it's totally broken on my end. No one wants to hear the about the hoops I've just navigated to complete an attachment, but that pales in comparison to how the forums currently resemble swiss cheese on hot asphalt after its been its been run over by a line of semis' on a blistering day.

I'd note the issue in the appropriate thread but I can't find it. And speaking of posting, the box is still broke. The basic doesn't even load anymore nine times out of ten, never mind all the frills with italics and bold, makin' me type it out m'self. I refuse to believe I spent all that time memorizing the order of the blurry little squares just to have 'em all do a runner.
