@JPGhost >> Can I tell you how much I adore guys who wear glasses! :D ..|

Fighting tiredness trying to get shit done around my apartment, but it's not working. Tiredness is winning. And my AC is apparently out. My electricity is free all night between 10pm to 6am, so I'm testing my AC by turning my thermostat down to 60. It should be absolutely frigid in here, right now, at 2.39am. It is, instead, an oven.

When I went to the 7-Eleven across the street at 3am earlier this morning, it was literally cooler outside than it is in my apartment.

I want my damn AC!!! :grrr:

I actually wanted to take a nap earlier, but it's so hot in here. Nothing pisses me off and visibly agitates me quite like waking up in a pool of my own sweat from it being too hot in my apartment. It's one of my biggest pet peeves.

 shout out to lefty for the idea. anyways, free feel to air yourself out, voice your emotions, people you may have a problem with on here, and etc. just feel free to write whatever you want. it's basically a free zone.

anyways, i really didn't know what to first say to kick this thread off first but even though this really wasn't what i wanted to talk about. i became came out to this web forum where i've known the posters over there for years. they basically knew me as the "emotionally unstable 20 something year old virgin living at home with no job and no friends that couldn't get a woman or pussy to save his life." it was basically a wild overexaggeration where people let their imaginations go off with. they might tell you about the whole long drawn out episode than i could.

the funny part was some of them were cool with it. half of them were ready to :grrr: with me over it and most of them or at least almost everybody thought i was lying, was trolling or was just surprised as in i couldn't be that. "oh shit, you're gay?", and all of these reactions that i wasn't suspecting. :( very few of them actually suspected that i was gay or thought that it made since. about 2 people were actually upset with me because they had high hopes for me getting pussy and finally dating a woman. to them, they thought like it was a good tv show that jumped the shark.

anyways, pretty soon, the homophobia of the forums came towards my way where people started dissing and making fun of me for being gay. it's been annoying but at the same time, it's not like they've been able to run me off of the forums. they can say whatever but i'm still going to be there, doing whatever i do regardless.

Venting is great.

Thanks.

I was/am crushing really hard on someone at work. Then I remembered all the threads about "Not shitting where you eat" and Im slowly coming to my senses. Very SLOWLY.

That's very wise imho. My sister was pushed out of her last job due to complications of a relationship she had with a coworker. Just isn't worth it imho.

Yeah. That's what I keep thinking about. How are ya ? :)

Very well, and how are you?

In my sister's case, the relationship itself wasn't the cause of problems at work, but a jealous coworker who didn't "like" that they were going out to lunch together and such began making accusations in HR that my sister was taking long lunches and falsifying her time card. It wasn't true, but since my sister works for a company that does government contract work, any such accusation requires a massive investigation since it's possible fraud with taxpayer money. Six months later with the investigation running all that time (fruitlessly) the workplace had basically ostracized her and so she just voluntarily left.

Wow, that sounds horrible. I feel terribly for your sister. Now Im really sure. Plus we romanticise relationships in our head. They're often never as good as we think they are.

Oh, and Im great ! :)

The way my friend put it was "which is easier to replace - the boyfriend or the job?" In some cases, perhaps the job is a fairly low-level one, and it's not that difficult to get another. In which case, hey, go for it. :)

Mmmmm...I just finished a bottle of Trader Joes Colossal Olives stuffed with Garlic Cloves....I had some multigrain crackers and pepper jack cheese with it. I am mad because I ran out of olives...they are so damn good....

I went out yesterday to do some more work at the planting site in my conservation effort. The Air Force had been running survival training in the area, but I wasn't worried about it.

I should have been: they tore up wildlife fencing, ripped out nurse logs, and dug out planting boxes already set in the sand waiting for trees to be planted in them next month. All the stakes by the existing seedlings, which catch fog and trickle the water down to the trees, were gone, most broken off instead of pulled. A couple of seedlings were just vanished without a trace. And all my stashed supplies, such as cord and nails and small buckets, had been stolen.

On top of that, every last trail marker on the county park hiking trails was gone, too.

It's why most companies have non-fraternization policies and require you to disclose any relationships at work to HR. I had to almost fire a part of a couple because they didn't disclose the fact they were dating at work despite working in different departments. I don't really care that much either way but it's just another part of the contract people don't think about until said situation arises.

Well, the girl I like has a girlfriend. I should have known. She's kind of awesome. Im kind of bummed but it sure makes going to work a lot easier now :).
