Even tho kayne said it at the wrong place & at the wrong time he was telling the truth. beonce has songs and videos that mean something, while taylors songs are fun to listen to, in reality her lyrics are worthless and will be forgotten in a year or so. taylor only won because the pop culture vibe. on a dif/ note What About That Performance by Pink. it was amazing!

Honestly, rap does not have the universal appeal MTV would have you believe. I think Hip Hop has an even smaller fan base. I can honestly state that I have never heard a single thing Kanye West has ever released. On the other hand, I like Jennifer Hudson since she blew Beyonce off the stage in Showgirls. The Beyonce myth is just that..a hyped myth, Kanye.

I'm less disappointed with Kanye as I am with society's obsession with negativity.

If, instead of storming the stage, he spent his Saturday night reading to children in a hospital would there be 19 threads about it, would the story dominate the airwaves?

America collectively ejaculates when things like this happen, but where's our excitement when somebody does something positive?

There was a pastor in California who issued a public inquiry for religious organizations to support LGBT and it didn't get a fraction of the attention Kanyegate is getting. :roll:

The comment was made in private and off-the-cuff. The fact was that someone overheard it and thought it to be a good idea to leak the audio. Also, not that this should be some contest to see who is the least refined, but this pales in comparison to the monkey we had for the past 8 years.

Not as a politician in the 21st century, it isn't. As not just a politician but the biggest American politician currently on the scene, there is no off-the-record. Ever. And now some people wish him dead! other people take this as an opportunity to show their racist tendencies, others take this oppurtunity to downsize their Kanye CD collection...good grief, the rage about this is greater than when Chris battered Rihanna..people you all got to learn to prioritize your rage, your racists outburts, your venom and when it's appropriate to start downsizing your CD collection!!!

Why shouldn't the President say it? It seems like every stupid son of a bitch these days has a rude, nasty opinion and they seem to think they have a right to say it in public. The President's comments were made privately, not in front of a national TV audience.

Kanye is a shitbag; all you have to do is listen to that slop he records to realize it...just another over-indulged, no-talent piece of crap who has everybody snowed into thinking he's some kind of artist......and this stupid society of ours which worships nothing more than fame and money seems to think he's ok. Well, he's not ok.

I suppose all this public apologizing now is supposed to compensate Taylor Swift (whom I don't like either, but she won the award, and he had no business upstaging her like that, regardless of who you think should have won) and the rest of us for the fact that he's an asshole. and his mama died, we're told; I guess that's the reason he can't act like a civil human being; maybe the old lady should have taught the stupid clown some manners when she had the chance...
